CBBT is an event where participants exchange their unused item with the item they would like to obtain. Throughout the exchange process, no monetary terms applied. Besides that, old newspapers and old item for recycling can be brought to the recycling team at the event. For each 10kg of recycle items, a voucher will be given. These voucher includes services for hair cutting, manicure, make up, and
etc. CBBT Objective:
■ To create awareness about Zero-Waste practices
(I) During the process of CBBT, the participants are able to obtain their desired items without monetary terms. Therefore, they are able to allocate the budget saved in other purpose, creating an economy growth.
■ To encourage reuse, reduce & recycle (3R’s) in daily life
(I) Reuse – CBBT event allow those unused item are able to find a new owner. (II) Reduce – CBBT event reduce the quantity of waste material. (III) Recycle – CBBT event are able to recycle waste material as it been trade out.
■ To educate the younger generation the meaning of appreciation
(I) Throughout CBBT, we are able to educate them to treasure their surrounding belongings, do not treat them as waste material if it is still able to function. Besides that, the younger generation will able to understand the values of money.
