As Penang Free School proudly marks 210 years of excellence, we are delighted to share the line-up of programmes planned to commemorate this historic milestone. A thanksgiving and prayer gathering to seek continued blessings, unity and success for Penang Free School and its community.
3 October 2026 (Saturday Morning)
*Free School Reunites*
Featuring sports & other activities and the Free School Guide Walkabout, reconnecting generations of Old Frees with their beloved alma mater. Old Frees, mark your calendar for this Homecoming!

The signature celebration bringing together alumni, students, educators, distinguished guests and friends to commemorate 210 remarkable years of history and achievement.

*Founder’s Tomb Visit & Service*
A tribute to our founder, Reverend Robert Sparke Hutchings, in remembrance of the vision and legacy that gave birth to Penang Free School in 1816.
For over two centuries, Penang Free School has nurtured generations of Scholars, Sportsmen and Gentlemen who have contributed to society and the nation. As we celebrate this significant milestone, we warmly invite the entire Free School community to participate in these meaningful events and be part of a historic chapter in our school’s enduring legacy.
