A sincere thank you to Professor Chen Yu Jia, former President of Taiwan Graduate School of Pastoral Psychology, for visiting us and conducting a training workshop on Fantasy Expressive Art Therapy for our staff.✨

The workshop introduced how images and creative expression can help us better understand emotions and inner world, especially for those who find it difficult to express themselves through words and verbal expressions.

It also showed how creative expression can provide caregivers with a space to process and express their emotions.

Thank you, Professor Chen, for sharing your knowledge and experience with us! ❤️



非常感谢来自台湾教牧心理研究院前校长，陈宇嘉教授来到美门，为所有中心的同工们进行一场关于幻奇表达艺术治疗的培训。✨

这场培训让同工们了解到如何通过图像与创作，帮助我们把抽象的心理感受和内心世界，变成看得见、感受得到的表达。

对于一些较难通过语言表达自己的人来说，幻奇表达提供了另一种沟通方式，帮助我们了解他们的内心世界。同时，这样的表达方式也为照顾者提供了一个抒发情绪的空间。

🌕 The moon is full, and it’s time to celebrate together!

We were happy to welcome the campers of the 19th Be An Angel Campaign back to Beautiful Gate! Many of them were visiting BG for the first time, so we took them on a tour of our centre and gave them a closer look at the daily lives of our members.

Of course, no Mid-Autumn Festival is complete without good food and a lantern walk together! 🏮 Along the way, there was plenty of laughter and conversation as we slowly reconnected and became closer once again. ❤️

A special thank you to Wendy Chan Yim Ching for remembering us once again and gifting us delicious mooncakes. Your thoughtful gesture made this Mid-Autumn Festival even more meaningful. 🥮

May this special festival bring you together with your loved ones, with warmth and companionship all around.

🌕 Another Mid-Autumn Festival is here!
We are happy to welcome 马来西亚星洲日报 Malaysia Sin Chew Daily and Crossurvive, who brought us thoughtful gifts. ❤

From delicious handmade mooncakes 🥮 to the lovely enzyme products and kokedama 🌿, everything brought warmth to our celebrations.

We look forward to making enzyme products and kokedama together next time, continuing to connect and share more joyful moments together!

Curious to know what an inclusive performance looks like? 🤔

We’re looking for volunteers to join the Beautiful Gate Performing Art Troupe!
The requirements are simple (actually, there aren’t really any special requirements 😛)

♿Persons with and without disabilities are all welcome to join!
🎤 No stage experience? No worries, you’re still welcome!
💪 Nothing is impossible when you’re willing to practice together!

Our art troupe was established not only to encourage our members to stay active and explore new possibilities, but also to create more opportunities for PWDs to be seen in the performing arts.

🎉 The 19th Be An Angel Campaign 阳光天使志工培训营 has come to a close!

3D2N may have been short, but they were filled with meaningful learning and hands-on experiences.

From wheelchair assistance, visual impairment awareness, and disability equality training to outdoor activities, our campers had the opportunity to better understand accessibility and social inclusion. ♿️

This year’s theme, “Embracing Differences”, encourages us to look beyond our prejudices, embracing and respecting the differences in every individual.

We’re glad to hear how the camp has given our campers a new perspective on disability and helped them become more aware of the barriers that PWDs face in everyday life.

The camp is the first step towards seeing differently.
We hope everyone will bring what they have learned back into their daily lives. We also welcome you to join our volunteer team and be part of this journey.

Lastly, thank you to all our campers and committees for making this camp a success!💙

🎉第19届阳光天使志工培训营圆满结束啦！

三天两夜，虽然短暂，却收获满满！✨
从轮椅辅助技巧、视觉障碍知识、残障意识培训，再到外出实践，营员们将所学带到真实生活中，进一步了解无障碍与社会共融的重要性。♿️

今年的主题是“看见不同”，我们希望传达的信息很简单：摘掉有色眼镜，去接纳和尊重每个人身上都有的“不同”。

很高兴听见各位营员分享他们在培训营中的收获，也看见他们重新认识残障人士的需求，并意识到社会环境、偏见对残障人士带来的障碍。

阳光天使培训营是看见的第一步，我们希望大家把这几天学到的知识带回自己的生活，也欢迎大家加入美门志工团，陪伴他们一起走下去。

最后，感谢所有营员与筹委的认真投入，让第19届阳光天使志工训练营顺利完成！💙
