I am honoured to lead this club, which was established on 1 June 1985.
In Toastmasters, all members are guided by a set of core values: Integrity, Respect, Service, and Excellence.
After more than 41 years of embracing the culture of โFriends Helping Friends Succeedโ in communication and leadership, members can rest assured that we will continue this positive and inspiring culture.
To keep up with the times, the club will embark on a new path by exploring how we can help people speak effectively, communicate with confidence, and lead in the workplace, community, family, university, and beyondโthrough our online platform.
We have an illustrious history of members advancing in their careers and businesses, supporting international NGOs, organising youth programmes, excelling in academia, winning debate and public speaking competitions, and taking on top district leadership positions.
The club has always assembled a team with a passion for excellence that tirelessly serves its members.
Our utmost gratitude and appreciation go to our founder, Dr. Ralph C. Smedley, for establishing Toastmasters International on 22 October 1924 in Santa Ana, California, USA.
Toastmasters gives us unlimited opportunities to develop our self-esteem and self-confidence, discover our inner voice, and achieve our dreams.
