YWAM Petaling Jaya Official page of YWAM Petaling Jaya (PJ), Malaysia. Petaling Jaya is the neighbouring city of Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Peninsular Malaysia.

Youth With A Mission is a global movement of Christians from many cultures, age groups, and Christian traditions, dedicated to serving Jesus throughout the world. Also known as YWAM (pronounced “WHY-wham”), we unite in a common purpose to know God and to make Him known. YWAM Petaling Jaya partners with churches, ministries, and organizations to serve their vision and needs. Current staff are from

Malaysia and America, and are focused on focused on conducting seminars, discipleship training among youth, leading GO Teams, working alongside various churches and preparing for the upcoming Discipleship Training School. We are one of the five branches of Youth With A Mission Malaysia, a volunteer organization in Malaysia and part of Youth With A Mission International.

I think Gen Z should care about mission because honestly… we understand this generation better than most people.

We know what loneliness feels like.
We know what it’s like to struggle mentally, question purpose, overthink everything, and still try to act okay online.

That’s why I don’t think mission is only for “super spiritual” people or pastors. Sometimes God just uses ordinary people who are willing to care.

And our generation already has influence too. Creativity, social media, communication, ideas… we grew up with all of that. Imagine if some of that was actually used to help people know Jesus better.

Also, I feel like a lot of people our age are tired of fake things. People want something real now. Real love, real faith, real people.

That’s kinda why I think we shouldn’t just leave mission to “someone else.”
Maybe God wants people from our generation to reach our own generation too.

A place to know God deeper, get equipped, and learn how to live mission in real life.

One step of saying yes to God.

Save this before you forget 🔖

Here’s 3 things you should know ⬇️

1️⃣ You CAN move forward… WITHOUT Him
It’s actually possible for things in life to still work out, to progress, to “reach somewhere”… and yet God isn’t really with you in it.

That’s why Moses said, if Your presence doesn’t go with us, don’t send us.
(Book of Exodus 33:15)

2️⃣ His PRESENCE is what makes the difference
Moses asked, how will anyone know we are Yours… unless You are with us?
That’s really what sets a life apart.

3️⃣ You DON’T need to figure everything out
Honestly, sometimes it’s just about following.

Taking the next step, staying close to Him, even when you don’t fully understand where it’s going.

Like the wind, you don’t see it clearly, but you know it’s there (John 3:8).

We are extremely excited to see what God is going to do this year because we saw how God moved in the students’ life last year! ❤️‍🔥

God desires to raise a holy generation that is strong in the Word. As a response to knowing God through His Word and falling more in love with Him, naturally, our hearts will be moved to worship Him in the most pure form!
