Suriana Welfare Society Malaysia is a registered child focused non government organization(Reg No PPM-010-10-04122010) set up to give children A Hope for the future.The services include :-
Food Aid to poor families - during the Covid epidemic
• Play and Learn Centre – Poor children living in low-cost flats have the opportunity to
learn English, health education, art and craft
• An Education Centre – Providing education for Stateless children
• Children, Adolescent and Family Counselling – In person or via online
• Single Mothers – A support group and assistance in providing living and vocational skills.
• Public Education Program – Conducting talks on issues related to children and families

🌍♻️ World Clean-Up Day ♻️🌍

Our little eco-heroes stepped up! 💚

Armed with big smiles and lots of energy, the children picked up trash around our play area and sorted each item into the right recycling bins.

Caring for their environment builds early awareness about recycling, and practised teamwork as they work together to find the right bin for every piece.

Ramai kanak-kanak di komuniti ini pulang dari sekolah ke rumah yang kosong sementara ibu bapa mereka keluar bekerja, menjadikan mereka terdedah kepada risiko sosial.

Sejak tahun 2019, Suriana mengendalikan PAL 5 sebagai ruang selamat untuk kanak-kanak ini. Kini, lebih daripada 70 kanak-kanak berusia 6 hingga 12 tahun datang ke sini lima hari seminggu untuk mendapatkan:
📚 Sokongan pembelajaran asas
🤝 Interaksi sosial yang positif
🌟 Adab yang baik dan keyakinan diri

📍 PAL 5 | PPR Desa Mentari, Blocks 1-8

Many children in this community return from school to empty homes while their parents are at work, leaving them vulnerable to social risks.

Since 2019, Suriana has operated PAL 5 as a safe zone for these children. Today, over 70 children aged 6 to 12 come here five days a week, where they get:
📚 Core learning support
🤝 Positive social interactions
🌟 Good manners and confidence

Small hands, big hearts. In conjunction with International Day of Charity, our Bright Beginnings children created handmade cards and their very own "pots" of love and kindness, each one made to brighten someone's day.

Through this activity, the children learned that giving isn't measured only in money or gifts. A kind word, a thoughtful note, a moment of care; these are gifts too, and they're ones every child can afford to give.

Here's to raising a generation that gives freely and loves generously.

𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗥𝗮𝗿𝗲, 𝗪𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲: 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Behind every rare disease diagnosis lies a long and often lonely journey; one filled with 𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘆, 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗼𝘀𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝗻𝗮𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. This is known as the 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗢𝗱𝘆𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘆, and for countless children and families across Malaysia, it remains an all-too-real struggle.

Suriana takes a meaningful step forward in advocacy by presenting our findings and research on this very journey to YB Datuk Seri Dr Dzukefly Ahmad, Menteri Kesihatan Malaysia, and YB Teresa Kok, Ahli Parlimen Seputeh.

Our goal is simple yet urgent: to shorten the path to diagnosis, ease the burden on families, and ensure that 𝗻𝗼 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝗳𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲.

A heartwarming milestone as we launched the 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 (𝗣𝗖𝗙) 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗮 𝗣𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗵, graced by YB Datuk Seri Dr Dzukefly Ahmad, Menteri Kesihatan Malaysia, and YB Teresa Kok, Ahli Parlimen Seputeh — alongside the closing of Larian Kutip (Plogging) Seputeh! 🏃‍♀️🌱

This programme is a direct follow-through from our anthropometry (growth measurement) screening back in April 2026, where children aged 6 months to 6 years identified with nutritional concerns are now enrolled in a 6-month intervention journey — closely monitored by our dedicated Pegawai Sains Pemakanan. 👶📊

✨ 19 precious BB children are now part of this journey towards healthier futures.
