Being supportive of the government’s policies and initiatives such as the Economic Transformation Programme (ETP), we aspire to become a platform for young entrepreneurs to improve and grow their business who eventual

The main focus of GMB would be entrepreneurs who have reached the competitive level (First Floor Companies) but require necessary support in order to move forward. We attempt to focus on the continuous efforts for capacity building, improve access to financing or funding and hence, provide wider marketing opportunities by promoting market access and international linkages. Currently, we plan to realise such efforts through our programme, namely Malaysia Trade Centre (MTC) in various strategic markets such as Singapore, Jakarta and Vietnam that aims to promote and create market access in international markets. In light of the matter, GMB Malaysia and IM Investment Holdings have recently opened the Malaysia Brand Outlet (MBO) at The Vertex that located at 33 Ubi Avenue 3, Singapore. The one-stop shop aims to help develop Malaysia’s small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Fast moving consumer goods like coffee, juices, food and healthcare items are among the 150 products sold at the Malaysia Brand Outlet. The shop has 30 companies showcasing five products each for six months up to a year. GMB Malaysia has also constantly provided a platform for young entrepreneur and new business to obtain information on business opportunities, funding, market access and capacity building through its Young Meet Young Programmes which were successfully conducted in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Sarawak, Terengganu, Negeri Sembilan and Pahang. It also has established an MOU with the SME Chamber of India for the purpose of access to finance facilitation.
