REHDA Youth Empowering Malaysia's future property developers
๐ŸŒŸ Leadership | Education | Aid | Design Together, we can have a positive impact on nation building in Malaysia.

The objective is to bring together the next generation of developers that they may benefit from networking amongst peers and other industry players, gain a greater awareness of the challenges and issued faced by our industry, and to broaden our horizons via knowledge sharing and exposure. In the very sophisticated and complex property development industry, it is vital to induct those who are keen and motivated, to be responsible ' real estate development professionals' as early as possible. Membership is open to anyone under the age of 40, holding senior management positions in an organization involved in the business of property development in Malaysia and is registered as member of REHDA. Our members hail from various professional backgrounds, and while we may be at different levels of experience and familiarity with the property development industry, all are keen to learn more and all have something to contribute by being involved. As a REHDA youth member, you too can benefit from networking with senior members of REHDA while experiencing the workings of the industry by participating in various REHDA state branch and committees. Thatโ€™s a wrap for the REHDA Youth Township Tour Series 2026 on 28 August 2026! A day filled with insightful sharing, first-hand experiences, and exclusive access into the planning, development, sustainability, and construction innovation behind Gamuda Cove and Gamuda IBS.

๐ŸŽ™๏ธ Voice of Experience by Ms. Wong Siew Lee, Chief Operating Officer of Gamuda Berhad โ€“ Sharing valuable experiences and perspectives from her journey in the property and development industry, offering participants practical insights and lessons from the field.

With 30 participants joining the tour, the day provided a valuable platform for REHDA Youth members to learn directly from industry leaders, experience real-world developments, and exchange ideas on the future of township development and construction.

Members gained candid insights into rising material costs, imported tile competition, quality control, developer-supplier collaboration, skilled labour shortages, sustainability and the importance of continuous learning and resilience in business.

The session also provided an opportunity for our members to engage directly with Feruniโ€™s leadership and explore how innovation, creativity and collaboration can shape the future of the built environment.
