We are a non-profit organization (NGO) that advocates and works to give children who are living in institutions & unplanned newborn babies whose lives are at risk the opportunity to grow up in a loving home. We have 3 baby hatches in Petaling Jaya, Johor Bahru and Sungai Petani. We also collaborate with 3 KPJ Hospitals that have the Baby Hatches which is KPJ Ipoh, KPJ Seremban, KPJ Kota Bahru and another with AnNur Specialist Hospital in Bangi. We were delighted to welcome YSD & PEMIMPIN GSL Teachers to OrphanCare for a meaningful visit and engagement session.

The session provided an opportunity to share more about OrphanCare’s work, Project SINAR, and our ongoing efforts to ensure every child grows up in a safe, loving, and nurturing family environment. We also had valuable discussions on potential areas for future collaboration, knowledge sharing, and collective impact.

A heartfelt thank you to YSD & PEMIMPIN GSL Teachers for visiting OrphanCare, taking the time to learn about our initiatives, and for the thoughtful exchange of ideas. We truly appreciate your interest and support, and we look forward to building meaningful collaborations together in the future.

A New Beginning for Baby M ❀️

Alhamdulillah, we are grateful to share that the adoption process for Baby M, our 47th baby saved this year so far, has been successfully completed.

The birth mother was connected to OrphanCare through her uncle, with the kind assistance of Datin Elya, one of our Trustees. Throughout her time with OrphanCare, she received the necessary support and counselling before making a clear and considered decision to proceed with adoption.

This marks the beginning of a beautiful new chapter as Baby M goes home to a loving family, surrounded by the care, warmth and support every child deserves.

This meaningful journey was made possible through the dedication, coordination and compassion of everyone involved in supporting both the birth mother and the adoptive family throughout the process.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to Datin Elya and Puan Aishah, both Trustees of OrphanCare, as well as everyone involved, for their care, commitment and support in making this journey possible. πŸ’›πŸ’™

More Than Just a Movie β€” A Day to Remember

Our recent Charity Movie Premiere became more than just a day at the cinema.

It was a day filled with laughter, smiles and, most importantly, families spending time together.

It warmed our hearts to see so many families come together, share a few hours of joy and create memories with their loved ones.

But behind every ticket and every contribution was something even more meaningful β€” a belief in the importance of family.

A heartfelt thank you to Angkatan Koperasi Kebangsaan Malaysia Berhad (ANGKASA), Agensi Kaunseling & Pengurusan Kredit (AKPK), and everyone who supported us, including those who generously donated even though they could not be there with us that day. Your kindness reminds us that there are many people who believe every child deserves the love, safety and belonging of a family.

Your contributions will be put to meaningful use as we continue our work towards Family-Based Care and our mission to protect and support vulnerable children, families and communities.

Real Talk: Creating Safe Spaces for Youth to Learn, Share & Grow

Another meaningful session through OrphanCare Foundation’s Real Talk Programme, bringing young people together in a safe and supportive environment where they can ask questions, share their thoughts, and learn about important topics that affect their lives.

Through interactive discussions and activities, participants explored topics including healthy boundaries, respect, relationships, and health awareness β€” encouraging them to become more informed, confident, and responsible in the choices they make.

Beyond knowledge sharing, Real Talk is about building trust and creating a space where every young person feels comfortable to speak, listen, learn, and be heard.

Thank you to everyone at PPR Paya Nahu for the warm participation and positive energy throughout the session.
