🦁Monthly Signature Project – 18 Sept 2026🦁

18/9/2026 : Our Club brought light, warmth, and nourishment to the parishioners of Charis Sheep Pen, Pudu, in collaboration with Pastor Leong.

🍱 50 hearty dinner boxes of fried rice with meat and vegetables were lovingly prepared and distributed — ensuring that at least one meal was taken care of for the evening. The smiles and gratitude we received were truly heartwarming.

👠 Adding a thoughtful touch, several ladies were given the joy of choosing a pair from six sets of elegant flat‑bottom shoes — a small gesture that sparked visible delight.

What a truly wonderful and meaningful day as 14 Lions Clubs came together for a joint project — Lions Club Pickle Day 2026! We were honored to have the Special Olympics Selangor team join us on court, bringing energy, spirit, and inspiration to the event. 🌟

🎉 Telematch Games
Two teams took part in four exciting telematch challenges — filling the court with laughter, cheering, and boundless excitement! These games, though simple in appearance, demanded teamwork, communication, trust, and support. It was heartwarming to see how quickly everyone bonded, encouraged one another, and worked together as one. 💪🤝

Come celebrate an evening of creativity, lanterns and Mid-Autumn festivities with us at CITTA Mall! 🌕🏮✨

6/9/2026 : Today's session was an advanced class on AI video projects, building on our earlier session where we learned to create posters and cards using basic prompts with AI-aided tools like ChatGPT and Gemini, alongside Canva and similar apps.

This time, we progressed to AI video applications such as Dreamina, Google Flow, Chat GPT and Capcut.

Facilitator Lion KK Chin challenged us to produce Lions-related projects using the tools we had just learned.
Members get to step into the future of digital media during the Advanced AI Video Training session and were amazed at how text prompts could be transformed into hyper-realistic video clips in just minutes.

Our participating members, President Seew Yin, IPP Chwee, Treasurer Low, and members Jessica Chan and Celine Kang were hands-on throughout and were pleased with what they produced.

We would like to take this opportunity to express our appreciation to Facilitator "AI Sifu" Lion KK Chin, and to President Jeanine Ang of LC Mid-Valley Kuala Lumpur, for providing us with this lifelong learning opportunity.

Organizing Clubs: Lions Club PJ Mutiara for District 308 B2 & Lions Club KL North for District 308 B1

🌟 Highlights
Massive Participation: A remarkable collaboration of 26 Lions Clubs and 9 Leo Clubs with grand total of 1,827.90 kilos of recyclables gathered, reflecting the collective strength of service.

🎉 Fun Spirit
This initiative was more than a recycling drive—it became a celebration of unity, environmental care, and youthful energy. With laughter, teamwork, and shared purpose, Lions and Leos transformed recycling into a vibrant expression of service.

🏆 Impact
Environmental Awareness : Promoted sustainable practices across multiple communities.

Strengthened Bonds : Deepened collaboration between Lions and Leos, fostering intergenerational teamwork.

Youth Leadership : Demonstrated how even new members can lead with passion, creativity, and impact.

The 27th Let’s Recycle Project stands as a shining example of how service, when infused with joy and unity, can create lasting change. It reflects the Lions’ unwavering commitment to community, environment, and leadership development.

🌏🦁 WHEN HEARTS UNITE, COMMUNITIES THRIVE 🦁🌏
Cross-Border Lions & Leos Service Collaboration | 28 August 2026
the spirit of We Serve came alive in Klang as Lions and Leos from District 308 B2, Malaysia, joined hands with our friends from the Lions Club of Hong Kong Belt & Road, District 303 (Hong Kong & Macao) for a meaningful day of cross-border fellowship, service and compassion. ❤️

Led by President Lion Ronald Khong, IPP Lion Jame Leng and CP Zoe from the Hong Kong delegation, together with Hong Kong Belt & Road and Hong Kong (Pacific) Leos, embarked on a journey of service alongside Selangor Lions.

With the valuable guidance and support of PDG Dr. Alan Thoo, and accompanied by District Governor Nic Seow, our District 308 B2 team — including IPP Chwee Chee Onn, PP Eric Foong Chee Huay and PP Low Chee Sing of the Lions Club of Petaling Jaya Metro — came together to make a difference across three community projects in Klang. 🤝

📚 1. NURTURING YOUNG MINDS
One Community Lions Learning Centre (OCLLC), Klang
Our first stop was the One Community Lions Learning Centre, a centre providing free tuition to more than 45 students through the dedication of volunteer teachers.

Building on the centre's legacy since its opening on 17 September 2024 by International President Fabricio Oliveira, our visiting and host Lions brought practical support to the students with exercise books, writing materials and stationery. ✏️📚

A cash donation was also presented to the Centre Administrator to help support ongoing operational expenses by Lions Club of Hong Kong Belt & Road. Because every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and dream. 🌱✨

❤️ 2. HEALING & SUSTAINING THE COMMUNITY
Pusat Komuniti Persatuan Kasih Sejati, Klang
Our second visit reminded us that service is not only about giving — it is also about caring, healing and standing beside those in need.
We witnessed specialised care being provided to 45 appointed patients, as well as daily lunch support reaching underserved individuals. 🍲❤️

Members of the Lions Club of Selangor TCM demonstrated the practical application of Traditional Chinese Medicine through live treatment and medication-dispensing sessions.

The Lions Club of Hong Kong Belt & Road generously donated RM1,000 towards the centre's running expenses, while participating Selangor Lions Clubs contributed RM150 towards the purchase of necessary supplies. A helping hand today can keep a vital community service going tomorrow. 🙏

👵👴 3. COMFORT & CARE FOR OUR GOLDEN GENERATION
Chik Sin Thong Klang & Pantai Old Folks Home
Our final stop was a heartfelt visit to Pusat Jagaan Rumah Orang Tua Chik Sin Thong Klang & Pantai, where we spent time supporting 25 elderly residents — 15 males and 10 females — together with 5 staff members.

Selangor Lions Clubs contributed essential groceries including rice, cooking oil, coffee, instant noodles & other essentials, while the Hong Kong Belt & Road Lions and Leos presented RM1,000 in cash assistance to support the home's operational needs. 🛒❤️

More than the donations, it was the fellowship, smiles and human connection that made the visit truly special.

🤝 ONE MISSION. ONE HEART. MANY LIVES TOUCHED.
Across three different communities, one message was clear:
Service knows no borders. 🌏❤️
The collaboration between District 308 B2 Lions & Leos and Hong Kong Belt & Road Lions & Leos strengthened not only our community impact, but also the bonds of international friendship and Lions fellowship.

Special appreciation goes to PDG Dr. Alan Thoo for his guidance, encouragement and facilitation in making this meaningful collaboration possible. The day concluded with the exchange of warm mementos, heartfelt appreciation and — naturally — a sumptuous lunch featuring Klang's famous Bak K*t Teh! 🥢😋 The food was good and we celebrated advance birthday of President Ronald Khong.

From learning centres to community care, from healing hands to elderly hearts — three projects, countless smiles, one shared spirit of service.

The Lions District 308 B2 Joint Installation Ceremony was a truly wonderful and memorable occasion, bringing together 24 Lions Clubs in unity and celebration. It was an absolute privilege for the Lions Club of PJ Metro to serve as part of the committee for this meaningful milestone.

We were greatly honored to share this evening with our Guest of Honor, Immediate Past International President & LCIF Chairman A.P. Singh and his spouse PID Sangeeta Jatia, whose presence added distinction and inspiration to the ceremony. Other luminaries included our DG Nicholas Seow, PID Dato Yeow Wah Chin, PID Datin Ellias Suriyati, PID Chang Jui-Tai, Council Chairman Chan Hoi, PCC Potter Kai, DG from B5 David Seow and scores of Lions.

🩺 Lions Community Health & Wellness Carnival 2026
organised by Lions Club of Tropicana Elite from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at MBPJ Dewan Komuniti BU11, Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya, Selangor attended by PP Eric Foong.

🎯 Event Overview
The Lions Community Health & Wellness Carnival 2026 was held to promote preventive healthcare and community well-being under the theme “Building Healthier Lives, Strengthening Our Community.” The event was open to all members of the public, including taxi and e-hailing drivers, certified EMTs (GPST), family members, and residents of Petaling Jaya.

The highlight of the carnival was the FREE Health Screening conducted in collaboration with the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) Malaysia, offering complimentary kidney health checks for the first 80 participants.

Participants enjoyed a comprehensive range of health assessments, including:
Blood pressure check
Blood glucose test
Vision and hearing screening
Oral health screening
BMI and back posture assessment
Kidney health screening
General health consultation

These screenings aimed to raise awareness on early detection and prevention of chronic diseases, empowering individuals to take proactive steps toward better health.

President Seew Yin and PP Eric had the privilege of visiting Pusat Penjagaan Kanak‑Kanak Cacat Taman Megah.

✨ The centre lovingly cares for around 100 children from diverse backgrounds. Beyond supporting children with disabilities, it also provides a safe haven for children of working single mothers who are unable to care for them. The youngest child is just 6 months old, a testament to the centre’s dedication from infancy through youth.

🎶 It was heartwarming to learn that the children are given opportunities to develop their talents. They proudly learn lion dance and take part in performances, showcasing their abilities and spreading joy to the community.

🍚 Our club contributed 16 packs of instant brown rice cereal, generously sponsored by Friend‑of‑Lion Ms. Regina Tan.

❤️ We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to spend time with these children and to support the remarkable work of the centre. Their resilience and spirit remind us that caring truly knows no boundaries.
