🚨 CRISIS IN THE PHILIPPINES: A massive 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck South Mindanao

Worse — it hit on the very first day of school.

Instead of opening textbooks, millions of children had to run for their lives.

Classrooms shook, widespread power outages followed, and aftershocks are still shaking the earth.

Children are always the most vulnerable when disasters of this scale hit. They are terrified, displaced, and need immediate help.

Our teams are on the ground right now, preparing much-needed relief and child protection activities. But we can’t do it alone.

💔 Don’t wait. Help us protect these children.

🇱🇧 World Vision is deeply concerned by the ongoing escalation of violence in Lebanon, particularly in the south, and saddened by the continued loss of civilian lives, including children.

We are heartbroken to share that two children, who were sponsored by World Vision Malaysia child sponsors, were killed alongside their family members while fleeing the violence. 💔

As we mourn this devastating loss, we renew our urgent call for the protection of children and all civilians, in line with international humanitarian law. Humanitarian assistance must be scaled up, and children and families must be able to safely access the support and services they need to survive and recover.

Every child deserves to live in safety, dignity, and peace.

Please join us in praying for the protection, safety, and peace of all children. 🕊️

🚨 World Vision is conducting assessments and preparing to support affected children and families through emergency relief and child protection services.
