YES Alumni Malaysia Established by AFS Malaysia, we are Malaysian alumni from the KL YES program funded by the US Department of State

YES Alumni Malaysia is an alumni association consisting of “graduates” from the YES Program. The title of a/an “graduate” or rather, “alumni member” is awarded to those who have successfully completed their 6-month to 1-year exchange program to the United States of America. YES Alumni Malaysia Malaysia is under AFS Malaysia which is an organization that offers and deals with intercultural exchange

programmes from Malaysia to different parts of the world and vice versa. YES Programs aka Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) Program is a program that is funded by the US Department of State and sponsored by the Bureau of Educational & Cultural Affairs (ECA). Scholarships are provided for high school students (15-17 years old) from countries with significant Muslim populations to spend up to one academic year in the US. As an organization, we organize, participate and volunteer at AFS and YES camps and projects. Apart from that, we also organize and participate in community service projects as we believe in doing good and giving back.
