There is something meaningful about sharing your journey with fellow Lions who are preparing to lead.

On 12 July 2026, I had the honour of serving as the trainer for the School for Presidents during the District 308 B2 School for Key Officers (Selangor) at Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus, organised by the Lions Club of Cyberjaya Blue Ocean Royale.

Rather than just sharing leadership theories, I shared my own journey as a Club President—the challenges, the lessons, and the experiences that shaped me as a Lion. I hope those stories will encourage our incoming leaders as they begin their own journeys.

To every key officer, remember that leadership is not about the title you hold, but the lives you inspire and the difference your club makes in the community. Lead with humility, serve with passion, and never lose sight of why we became Lions.

Wishing everyone a fulfilling and impactful fiscal year ahead.

108th Lions International Convention. Hong Kong

Sometimes, the moments worth witnessing are worth every effort.

I booked my flight on the very same day just to attend the Closing Ceremony of the 108th Lions International Convention and, most importantly, to witness the installation of District Governor Nicholas Seow for by International President Mark S. Lyon .

I’ve known DG since I was 15 years old, and seeing him now lead District 308 B2 is incredibly inspiring. His journey is a reminder that leadership is not built overnight. It is earned through years of service, commitment, humility, and the willingness to keep learning. For young Lions like myself, it is proof that every opportunity to serve today shapes the leader we become tomorrow.

Beyond the ceremony, it was truly an eye opening experience to be surrounded by thousands of Lions from all corners of the world. Different languages, different cultures, yet united by one purpose, We Serve.

The fellowship, meaningful conversations, and new friendships made this convention an unforgettable experience. It reminded me that Lionism is more than serving our local communities. It is being part of a global family committed to making the world a better place.

The journey continues, and I look forward to growing as a leader while inspiring more young Lions to step forward, embrace opportunities, and serve with purpose.
