It may be only our third month of hosting charity-subsidised therapy sessions but at the Kiwanis Child Development Centre (KCDC), we are grateful for every neurodivergent child we are able to help.

A big part of our journey is the support we are lucky to have from therapy service providers such as Mekar Therapy Services (Mekar), founded by occupational therapist (OT) Fatimah Amir.

In April, Fatimah and fellow Mekar OT Anis Arsyida visited KCDC to share valuable insights with our committee member Firoza Burhan
on the setting up of conducive therapy spaces.

Malaysian families attending therapy sessions at KCDC benefit from such experience and generosity of knowledge.

Baru-baru ini, KCDC telah berjaya
mengendalikan operasi bulan ! Kami amat bertuah kerana telah mendapatkan bantuan nasihat daripada penyedia-penyedia perkhidmatan yang . Antara mereka ialah Place yang telah diasaskan oleh Dr Choy Sook Kuen. Pada bulan Mei yang lalu, Dr Choy (berdiri di kanan, dalam gambarfoto slide yang kedua) telah melawat KCDC bagi berkongsi pengalaman beliau dalam mendirikan tempat-tempat yang sesuai bagi terapi. Pengalaman dan keikhlasan hati beliau memang memberi manfaat kepada keluarga-keluarga yang hadir ke KCDC setiap minggu. Jika anak anda memerlukan terapi pertuturan, carakerja atau muzik, tetapi keluarga anda dibelenggu masalah , sila isikan borang aplikasi untuk terapi bersubsidi. Jika anda mengenali keluarga yang sedemikian, silalah kongsi maklumat ini dengan mereka.

KCDC's completed our first month of operations! In May, Dr Choy (seen on the right, in the second slide photo) visited KCDC to share valuable insights with our patron Dato' Fatimah Saad (left, second slide photo) on setting up therapy spaces. Families attending therapy sessions at KCDC benefit from such experience and generosity of knowledge.
