Some extraordinary stories deserve to be shared - even if they're unpolished, raw, and works in progress.
There's no denying - 2026 has been challenging in many ways (and for many of us). Compared to the past 2 years, EPIC saw a significant shortfall in volunteer builders. As such, it's simply not been possible to provide safe homes to as many families as we've aimed to, and some plans had to be revised.

Fun fact - whenever we start working with a village to build EPIC Homes, the Orang Asli community is responsible for:
🤝Coordinating with each other to create a duty roster and tracking participation
📒Organising build materials and carrying out stock takes
🛠️ Clearing the build site and building the footing for all the EPIC Homes, ensuring everything is ready for them to start building the homes with volunter builders
(among many other things!)
It's evident how much care, diligence, and ownership they've put into this task, and it's truly an inspiration to behold.
Despite fewer volunteer builders this year, the reality on-ground remains unchanged - over 10,000 Orang Asli families are in need of safe homes.
Among them? Families and Orang Asli communities just like the residents of Kampung Orang Asli Jelintoh who are ready, willing, and able to make a change... and YOU have the power to make a difference with them.
So, will you join them in impacting communities?
Every little counts, so if you'd like to contribute in even the smallest way? Just share this post with your circle, because you never know who might see it and be inspired to make a difference 🧡
