On 9 July 2026, EcoKnights had the privilege of welcoming 83 participants from Pernod Ricard Malaysia to Sijangkang Mangrove Recreational Park for the Tree For Us (T4Us) Mangrove Conservation Programme.

The day began with a shared purpose: to give back to nature through meaningful, hands-on conservation. After learning about the importance of mangrove ecosystems and their role in protecting our coastlines, participants stepped into the muddy mangroves and got to work.

Together, we successfully planted 305 Rhizophora mucronata (Loop-root) mangrove saplings. While each sapling may seem small today, they will one day help stabilise shorelines, provide habitats for wildlife, improve water quality, and strengthen our natural resilience against climate change.

Conservation is never the work of one person. It’s made possible when individuals, communities, and organisations come together with a common goal. Every pair of muddy boots, every shovel in the ground, and every sapling planted represents a commitment to building a healthier and more sustainable future.

A heartfelt thank you to Pernod Ricard Malaysia and all 83 participants for your enthusiasm, teamwork, and dedication. Together, we’re not just planting mangroves—we’re growing a legacy for generations to come. 💚

From ideas to impact. 🌟

We were proud to present the Cool-Lah Tambahlah Bintang Campaign at the UNEP-U4E Mid-Year Partner Meeting, sharing the campaign's journey, achievements and lessons learned with partners from around the world.

The session reinforced one key message: meaningful change happens through strong partnerships. Together, we're helping Malaysians make informed choices and supporting the country's transition towards energy-efficient cooling.

Here's a short video capturing the campaign journey we shared during the meeting. 🎥

✨ Every mangrove planted helps keep the lights on for our fireflies.

In conjunction with World Firefly Day, EcoKnights brought together 49 participants from UPS Malaysia, alongside the International Tree Foundation and Inspirasi Kawa, for a morning of mangrove restoration at Kampung Kuantan Fireflies Park, Kuala Selangor.

Together, we planted and tagged 610 mangrove seedlings, helping restore one of Malaysia’s most important firefly habitats. Healthy mangroves support biodiversity, strengthen climate resilience, and protect the ecosystems that fireflies—and countless other species—call home.

Small actions, when multiplied by many, create lasting impact. 🌱💚
Thank you to all our partners and volunteers for making this conservation effort possible.

🌿 Restoring Nature, Strengthening Communities 🌿

We are proud to have collaborated with Knight Frank Malaysia and TTDI EDIBLE COMMUNITY GARDEN on a corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative to revitalise and restore the TTDI Edible Community Garden.

On 16 June 2026, 21 Knight Frank participants and their families joined forces to support urban ecosystem restoration. The team contributed through:

Composting & sowing
Pruning & weeding
Transplanting & pest control

This initiative highlights the power of collective action in sustaining community-owned green spaces and promoting sustainable living.

A huge thank you to Knight Frank Malaysia for their dedication to giving back, and to TTDI EDIBLE COMMUNITY GARDEN for making this event possible. Together, we are building a greener future.
