It was an honour to join the celebration of the 47th Anniversary of Pertubuhan Insuran Sarawak (Insurance Society of Sarawak). 🎉

The evening was a meaningful celebration of Trust, Excellence and Legacy, bringing together distinguished guests and industry leaders, including the Guest of Honour, The Honourable Datuk Amar Prof. Dr. Sim Kui Hian, Deputy Premier of Sarawak, Minister of Public Health, Housing and Local Government.

We were privileged to be part of this significant milestone and to support the celebration at Hilton Kuching.

MITBA recently held a meeting with PIAM, MTA and CAB to discuss the reconciliation of outstanding premiums between Insurers and Takaful Brokers (ITBs) with Insurance and Takaful Operators (ITOs).

The session provided a valuable platform for stakeholders to exchange perspectives, strengthen collaboration and explore ways to enhance industry practices in addressing this matter.

Moving forward, a joint committee will be established to further manage and address the issue.
