Persatuan Pemulihan Orang-Orang Cacat Selangor & Wilayah Persekutuan (PPOC) had the opportunity to join the Compost Workshop and Wood Turning activity in conjunction with World Wood Day, organised by the Faculty of Forestry and Environment, Universiti Putra Malaysia. 🌱🪵

It was a meaningful experience for our participants to learn about sustainability, creativity, and environmental awareness through hands-on activities. Thank you to everyone involved for the warm hospitality and valuable sharing session.

Congratulations to para wheelchair fencing athlete, Firdaus bin Shukor, for his dedication and outstanding commitment in representing the nation in sports. Firdaus is one of the resident at Persatuan Pemulihan Orang-Orang Cacat Selangor dan Wilayah Persekutuan (PPOC).

The “Road to SUKMA & Para SUKMA 2026” programme in Perlis was officiated by Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail, who also officiated the athlete appreciation ceremony and the official launch of the programme held at Auditorium JKKN, Kangar, Perlis on 12 May 2026.

PPOC extends its highest appreciation and support, and wishes Firdaus continued success in his sporting journey.

May this achievement serve as a strong motivation to continue striving for excellence and bringing pride to Malaysia on the international stage. 🏅♿🤺

PPOC residents and staff were invited to attend the National Labour Day Celebration 2026, themed “Pekerja MADANI, Kesuma Bangsa,” held on 1 May 2026 (Friday) at Unifi Arena, Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil and organised by Kementerian Sumber Manusia (KESUMA).

Adding to the significance of the celebration, the event was graced by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Anwar Ibrahim.

This Labour Day, we celebrate the contributions and commitment of Malaysia’s workforce as the backbone of national progress — including Persons with Disabilities (OKU), who continue to contribute with dedication, talent, and resilience in building a more inclusive society.
