For a nominal fee, our services are offered to PWDs, both males as well as females, irrespective of their race, religion or disability.

PPOC has been supporting Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) since 1974 through care and skill-building programs.

🤝 Support us via donations, volunteering, or PWD-made products! Rumah Insaniah Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah was established on 12 March, 1988 to accommodate Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) disabled with shelter, food and lodging while they participate in the rehabilitation programs. The Society helps PWDs to develop and to achieve their maximum potential, in order to earn a living and to improve their quality of life. The Society works with the various welfare societies, who are dedicated to caring for a specific disability and to promote co-operation among these societies in Selangor & the Federal Territory.

17–18 August 2026
Volunteer Programme

Eight students and two lecturers from Kolej Komuniti Sabak Bernam joined PPOC on 17–18 August 2026 for a meaningful Volunteer Programme. Throughout the two-day programme, the students assisted with sewing activities, shared their skills and knowledge, and worked alongside our workshop trainees. 🤝

The programme was a wonderful opportunity for skills sharing, teamwork, community engagement, and inclusion while supporting the activities at PPOC’s Sheltered Workshop. Thank you to Kolej Komuniti Sabak Bernam for your time, support and dedication. 💙

Empowering Futures, One Step at a Time

PPOC was honoured to conduct a Career Pathway Talk at PPKI SMK Kelana Jaya, bringing together PPKI students, parents, and teachers to explore opportunities beyond the classroom.

The session introduced participants to vocational training, employment pathways, and PPOC's programmes that empower persons with disabilities (OKU) to develop practical skills, build confidence, and achieve greater independence. We hope the sharing has provided valuable insights to help students and their families plan for a brighter future.

Our sincere appreciation goes to En. Razak PK PPKI and Cikgu Nabila Programme Coordinator, as well as all the dedicated teachers, parents, and PPKI students for your warm hospitality, active participation, and invaluable support in making this programme a success. Your encouragement and commitment played an important role in making the session both meaningful and impactful.

Together, we can continue to empower every individual to reach their full potential and build a more inclusive future.

🤝 Building Stronger Partnerships, Empowering More Lives

PPOC was honoured to welcome Yayasan Warisan Anak Selangor (YAWAS) on 3 August 2026 for a meaningful discussion on potential strategic collaboration, with a focus on the Program Khairat Darul Ehsan (KDE).

The visit provided a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas, strengthen partnerships, and explore initiatives that will benefit persons with disabilities (OKU) and the wider community. Together, we are working towards a more inclusive future through collaboration and shared commitment.

A heartfelt thank you to the YAWAS delegation En. Azmir, En. Faridzuan and En. Rizal for your time, insights, and commitment to fostering meaningful collaboration.

PPOC was honoured to be invited by PPKI SMK Taman YARL to introduce our organisation and share the services and programmes we provide for persons with disabilities (OKU).

The session provided a valuable opportunity to engage with students, parents, and teachers, while raising awareness of PPOC's vocational training, independent living, and employment support programmes. We hope the sharing will inspire greater collaboration and encourage more young persons with disabilities to pursue opportunities that promote independence and meaningful participation in the community.

We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to PK HEM Pn Nur Syakirah, PK PPKI Pn Rupihan, Programme Coordinator Cikgu Farhana, all the dedicated teachers, parents, and PPKI students for the warm hospitality, enthusiastic participation, and support throughout the programme. PPOC was honoured to participate in the Humane Economy Global Discourse 2026 (HEGD 2026) held at World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL) on 22 July 2026.

The event brought together leaders, organisations, and stakeholders to discuss sustainable and inclusive economic development. It provided a valuable platform for PPOC to exchange knowledge, strengthen networks, and explore meaningful collaborations that promote the empowerment and economic participation of persons with disabilities (PWDs).
