🎤✨ Another wonderful evening of learning, sharing, and growth at D’Utama Toastmasters Club! ✨🎤

Our meeting theme, “Worry, or attempt to solve the problem”, encouraged us to reflect on how we respond when faced with life’s challenges and uncertainties.

🎂 A special moment of the evening was our birthday celebration for members born between March and June. We wish all our birthday celebrants happiness, good health, and continued success in the year ahead! 🥳🎉

🏆 Congratulations to Toastmaster Chan Yew Choong for being voted Best Table Topics Speaker! Your quick thinking and engaging response impressed both members and guests alike.

🎙️ We were also treated to two meaningful prepared speeches:
🌟 Geena P**n took us on a personal journey through the different inner voices in her mind and shared how she learned to overcome the ones that held her back.
🌟 Rebecca Ann Narcis reminded us of the importance of checking in on our loved ones from time to time, as not everyone openly shares their struggles. A simple conversation can make a meaningful difference in supporting someone’s mental well-being. 💚

🙏 A heartfelt thank you to our external role players who contributed to the success of our meeting:
✨ Vivian Vasanthy from PJ Toastmasters Club for serving as our Table Topics Evaluator.
✨ Wren Chan from MC JO Toastmasters Club for leading an engaging and thought-provoking Table Topics Session.
✨ Shamo from Speecom Toastmasters Club for serving as our General Evaluator and providing valuable insights throughout the evening.

Thank you to all members, guests, speakers, evaluators, and role players for making the meeting a memorable one. Your participation continues to make D’Utama Toastmasters Club a place where we learn, grow, and support one another. 💙

We look forward to seeing everyone again at our next meeting. Until then, keep striving, keep learning, and keep speaking! 🚀

Sometimes in life, we move so quickly that we forget why we began the journey in the first place. This meeting’s theme, Rediscovering, reminds us to pause and reconnect with the very spark that brought us to Toastmasters, whether it was the desire to overcome fear, grow in confidence, find our voice, or simply become a better version of ourselves. Tonight, let us rediscover that purpose, reignite that passion, and continue this journey together with renewed inspiration 🔥🎤💡

Beyond 9 to 5 reminds us that growth doesn’t clock out when work ends ⏰. It’s in the quiet moments after a long day, when we choose to learn something new, reflect on our experiences, or take a small step towards a bigger goal 🌱. Whether it’s building a new skill, strengthening relationships, or simply taking care of our well-being, what we do beyond working hours shapes who we become. This Thursday, let’s explore how life outside the routine can bring deeper meaning, purpose, and fulfilment to our journey 🚀

Rainy day? No problem! 🌧️ 29 strong guests and members alike gathered for an amazing meeting tonight!

Bravo to our 4 speakers & evaluators for their stellar performances on stage! 👏

Xiao Yu took us through her childhood and the journey that shaped her path into HR, reminding us how our early experiences quietly influence who we become. 🌱

Sunny Por reflected on his journey from childhood, sharing how he navigated life’s challenges and the lessons that shaped his resilience. 💪

Lawrence Leong reminded us that mentors do not always carry formal titles. Often, they are invisible, guiding us in ways we only realise in hindsight. 🧭

JF, who works in building management, brought a fresh perspective by likening a building to a living organism, where every component plays a vital role in sustaining its life. 🏢

Big kudos to our TME Siva and role players for a seamlessly run meeting. Special mention to Jess for a fantastic maiden performance as LE, and Tun Xiang for a great job as GE! 🎤

Welcome to the family, Jane! You’ve joined a truly warm and supportive club! 🤝

A joyful and fruitful meeting — can’t wait for the next one! 😊

This applies to many aspects of life, and the belief has always resided within us.

Join us this Thursday as we explore the power of closure, embrace transitions, and discover how every ending can be the start of something new. ✨
