Ajar-Ajar Malaysia is an NGO provide weekly Free Tuition Class & Character Education Program at Sg.Way PJ, Sg. What do they learn?

Long, Kampar Perak , Penang, Seremban, Johor.

我们在全马8个据点提供免费补习班和品格教育活动，帮助弱势儿童，立志于平等教育发展。此活动之所以会命名为Ajar-ajar是因为义工老师们在教导（Mengajar）小朋友的当儿，自己其实也是在学习（Belajar）。学习什么呢？学习如何灌输小朋友知识，学习如何掌控脾气，学习如何分配时间，学习真爱是什么，等等。

我们注重的不单单只是小朋友们学术上的表现，而也包括他们的身心发展。这里的小朋友们都是来自一些较为困苦的家庭，有些是家境不好，父母日夜奔波，有些是在单亲家庭中成长，也有些是被监护人照顾。

这样的小朋友们比谁都需要帮忙，但是又有多少人愿意帮忙呢？

我们希望更多的大专生能够参与其中，挑起服务社会的责任，让更多的小学生能够受惠。献出你的3小时，打造他们一生的幸福！让我们一起把爱传出去！

his service project name "Ajar- ajar" meaning that while the teacher (mengajar) the kids, they are at the same time (belajar) . They learn how to deliver the knowledge to the kids, learn how to be patience, learn how to manage time, learn to share love and etc....

We focus not only the academic wise, but as well as behavioral and character education. As the children here come from poor family, single parent family, some even are under relatives supervision. Proper education will bring fortune for the kids future, therefore a better and more developed future of Malaysia. We hope more undergraduates and young people can join us together in this project. Just spend only 3 hours, we can create miracles. Let us share our love out together!!!

✨ Two beautiful weekends filled with learning, laughter, and connection! 🌿

On 1st and 8th Nov 2025, we had the pleasure of welcoming Sunway Student Volunteers and the Akar Umbi Society to Ajar-ajar Malaysia Sungai Way 💛

Through interactive activities, sharing sessions, and meaningful talks on Building Confidence and Managing Emotions, about 25 bright primary and secondary students explored how to express themselves, believe in their potential, and grow with a positive mindset 🌱A huge thank you to all volunteers and students for making these two days truly inspiring! 💫

我们非常荣幸地迎来了来自 Sunway Student Volunteers（SSV）和 Akar Umbi 的团队，透过一连串互动活动、分享与主题讲座，围绕着「建立自信」与「情绪管理」的主题，约有 25 位小学与中学生一同探索如何更好地表达自己、相信自己的潜能，并以积极的心态成长 🌱

Our team visited SJK(T) Kuang to organize an origami workshop for the primary school students! 🦢🎨
Around 50 students participated, showing incredible creativity and enthusiasm throughout the session.
It was truly heartwarming to see their smiles and colorful creations. 💖
A big thank you to the school for the wonderful collaboration! 🙏

7月26日，Ajar-ajar Malaysia 10周年教育慈善晚宴圆满举行，800多位宾客齐聚一堂💛一个充满温度的夜晚。感谢每个赞助商，也为孩子们点亮了新的希望 ✨

On 26 July, we came together to celebrate Ajar-ajar Malaysia’s 10th Anniversary Education Charity Dinner. Thanks to supporting organisation JPKK of Sungai Way New Village, Selangor, Malaysia 雪兰莪州双溪威新村, Universal Peace Federation of Malaysia, Women's Federation for World Peace Malaysia, Village of Swan - 双溪威 - Sungai Way. Over 800 friends gathered for one cause – the children’s future 📚 Thanks to all sponsor to make this event successful !

🎉教育慈善晚宴圆满落幕 #感恩10年 #爱在延续 ❤
On 26 July, Ajar-ajar Malaysia successfully hosted its Education Charity Dinner at SJKC Sungai Way, with over 800 guests joining hands for children’s education.

The evening was officiated by YB Lau Weng San（劉永山）, Speaker of the Selangor State Legislative Assembly, with YB Senator Dr Mohd Hatta Ramli and Village Leader , Mr. Ding Eow Chai in attendance. YB Lau praised Ajar-ajar’s decade-long mission and called for collective effort in ensuring education for all.

President Mr. Lai Peng Keong expressed heartfelt thanks to staff, volunteers, and partners, with special appreciation to main sponsors LBS Foundation (Ms. Shany Lim) and NMDS Engineering Services Sdn Bhd(Mdm. Tan Kok Suan) for their generous support.

Guests enjoyed a grand dinner, lion dance, LED diabolo DiAbolution, cultural dance, and sketch by Ajar-ajar students. The night also featured a joint cake-cutting with LBS Foundation, Long Service Awards, and the appointment of two Goodwill Ambassadors. 🙏 Thank you to all sponsors who made this milestone possible!

7月26日，我们在双溪威华小举办10周年教育慈善晚宴，超过800位嘉宾齐聚一堂，为弱势儿童筹募教育经费。

晚宴由雪州议长 YB刘永山主持开幕，并由 YB Senator Mohd Hatta Md. Ramli 及双溪威村长陈有才先生见证。YB Lau 致辞中赞扬 Ajar-ajar 十年来坚持教育使命，呼吁社会携手推动教育平等。

Ajar-ajar Malaysia主席黎炳强先生感谢团队、义工与合作伙伴，特别感谢主要赞助商 LBS Foundation 与 NMDS Engineering Services 的大力支持。

当晚气氛热烈，宾客享用晚宴，欣赏舞狮、LED扯铃、舞蹈和由Ajar-ajar小孩们的歌曲表演。Ajar-ajar 与 LBS Foundation 共同切蛋糕庆祝十周年，并颁发长期服务奖，委任两位贵宾为爱心大使，为教育传递希望。🙏 衷心感谢每一位赞助商和乐捐者，让这场爱心盛宴充满意义！
