When children shape the city, the city listens 🏙️💬
Through the Kuala Lumpur Bengkel Town Hall Kanak-Kanak, around 100 children explored the streets and public spaces around DBKL Library, Sultan Abdul Samad Building, Dataran Merdeka, and River of Life. They observed how people use them, shared what they love and what could be improved, and turned their ideas into recommendations for decision makers.
This was an opportunity for children to experience placemaking, express their perspectives, and take part in shaping the future of their city.
Together with EPIC, UNICEF & DBKL, we’re creating spaces where young voices are not just heard, but included in the conversation.
Because better cities begin with listening to the people who call them home 💛
