17/10/2025 Sponsorship Presentation by Lions Club of Petaling Jaya in collaboration with Hospital Shah Alam World Sight Day Celebration.

In celebration of World Sight Day hosted by Hospital Shah Alam, LC Petaling Jaya is honoured to make a symbolic contribution—sponsoring 64 intraocular lenses to support vision restoration efforts. The mock presentation was accepted by Dr. Fatimah binti Abdullah, Timbalan Pengarah Perubatan Hospital Shah Alam and Dr. Roslin Azni binti Abdul Aziz, Ketua Jabatan Oftal.

To mark the beginning of year 2025, Lions Club of Petaling Jaya has planned to sponsor 25 Free Cataract Surgeries, under our Signature Sight-Saving Program, to the deserving patients who are not able to afford the high cost of the surgery.

The launching of the 25 Feee Cataract Surgeries is scheduled on 21 Mar, morning. The Project is also our Club’s continuous collaboration with Hospital Shah Alam.

Advance screening for 1st 5 cataract patients in Hospital Shah Alam commenced on 07Mar morning, and supported by Lions Club Of Selangor Majestic, Lions Club of Puchong, Lions Club of Banting Elite and Lions Club of Seri Kuala Langat
