Have you ever heard of period poverty?

Period poverty is not simply about access to pads or tampons. It is about the inability to afford menstrual products, access clean and safe facilities, receive accurate menstrual health education, or manage menstruation with dignity.

All women deserve the right to live with dignity and experience safe menstruation. Let’s make periods a better experience for women.

For individuals and families who may need additional support. The Tzu Chi Assistive Devices Service Center in Kuala Lumpur provides free loans of medical equipment such as hospital beds, wheelchairs and walkers to those in need.

As part of our work supporting women, families and communities, we hope this information can help connect those who may need it with practical support.
