Our mission is to help ease the effects of the current pandemic with regards to the spike in unemployment that has affected our fellow parishioners by connecting affected parishioners who are seeking employment with parishioners who are able to provide employme
nt. This platform also aims to assist parishioners who are looking to market their skills and services to the parish community. This page stipulates the Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) under which you (“You”) may use the Community Board, and Your relationship with SFX Church Community Board (“Community Board”, “we” or “us”).
1. Agreement
This Community Board is provided to you for your use subject to these Terms. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and SFX Church Community Board. By accessing or using the Community Board you agree to accept and/or to be bound by these Terms and you agree to use the Community Board at your own risk. In the event there is any conflict between these Terms and any contract you have with the Community Board, these Terms will take precedent.
2. Change
We may modify the Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes to it, we will provide you notice through our Community Board. We agree that changes cannot be retroactive. Your continued use of our Services after we publish or send a notice about our changes to these terms means that you are consenting to the updated terms as of their effective date.
3. Eligibility
The Community Board is not for the use by anyone under the age of 18.
4. Terms
The Community Board is a platform to SFX Church parishioners to post or advertise employment opportunities, to market their skills and services to the parish community.
• Candidates who are interested in applying for any of the job postings will have to contact the employer or service provider directly. The church will not be involved in the employment process.
• Once the vacancy has been filled, the employer or service provider will need to inform the Community Board to remove their posting or advertisement. The administrator in charge of the Community Board Facebook will then remove the posting within a week from the date of notification.
• SFX church is not responsible for any information provided by the employer and/or the service provider.
• Posting or advertisement for agents relating to multi-level marketing (MLM) or network marketing are not encouraged.
• The company and/or jobs and services offered should not be involved in illegal, questionable and/or objectionable activities.
• SFX Church reserves the right and at its sole discretion, to decline any posting/advertisement request without giving any reason.
5. Confidential Information
The Employer or Service Provider acknowledges that in the course of the provision of the Community Board, it will have access to confidential information relating to the Candidates. The Employer or The Service Provider has therefore agreed that it shall (except in the proper course of its duties) during its engagement or at any time thereafter prevent improperly using or disclosing to any third party any confidential or sensitive information relating to the client.
6. No Warranty
SFX Church and its affiliates make no representation or warranty about the Community Board services, including any representation that the Community Board services will be uninterrupted or error-free, and provide the Community Board services (including content and information) on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, SFX Church and its affiliates disclaim any implied or statutory warranty, including any implied warranty of title, accuracy of data, non-infringement, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
7. Exclusion Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law (and unless SFX Church has entered into a separate written agreement that overrides this contract), SFX Church, including its affiliates, will not be liable in connection with this service for lost profits or lost business opportunities, reputation (e.g., offensive or defamatory statements), loss of data (e.g., down time or loss, use of, or changes to, your information or content) or any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages.
