Selangor 10th Joint Peace Poster Contest!

We are excited to invite students aged 11 to 13 years old (born between 16 Nov 2011 – 15 Nov 2014) to participate in the 2025-2026 Lions International Peace Poster Contest with the theme: TOGETHER AS ONE

How to Join:
1. Fill up the registration form via link provided below.
2. Complete your artwork at home based on the contest rules. The rules sheet will send via email upon registration.
3. Submit your poster at Citta Mall on Sunday, 28 September 2025, between 11:00 am – 5:00 pm.
4. Prize-Giving Ceremony will be held on the same day at 6:30 pm, Citta Mall.
Prizes:
- Champion: RM350 + Trophy + Certificate
- 1st Runner-Up: RM250 + Trophy + Certificate
- 2nd Runner-Up: RM150 + Trophy + Certificate
- 12 Consolation Prizes: Trophy + Gifts + Certificate

We are excited to announce that registration is now open for the Peace Poster Contest! This contest invites young artists aged 11 to 13 to express their vision of peace through creativity and art. Participants will have the chance to showcase their talents on a global stage and compete for recognition and prizes. Schools, youth groups, and individuals are all welcome to register for this inspiring event. Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of a tradition that has empowered young people to share their dreams for a peaceful world.

In addition, we are offering two more categories: Drawing and Colouring Contests for younger participants. Whether you’re a budding artist or simply love to create, these contests provide a fantastic platform to shine. We Serve Our Best to Our Community

Lions Clubs International, a service membership organization of over 1.7 million members worldwide (as of June 2018), was founded in Evansville, Indiana on 24 October 1916 by Dr. William Perry Woods and subsequently evolved as an international service organization under the guidance and supervision of its Secretary, Melvin Jones.

In 1917, Melvin Jones, was a 38-year-old Chicago business leader who told members of his local business club they should reach beyond business issues and address the betterment of their communities and the world. Jones' group, the Business Circle of Chicago, agreed. After contacting similar groups around the United States, an organizational meeting was held on June 7, 1917, in Chicago, Illinois, US. The Business Circle subsequently joined one of the invited groups, the "International Association of Lions Clubs" and at a national convention held in Dallas, Texas, later that year, those who were assembled: (1) adopted a Constitution, By-Laws, Code of Ethics and an Emblem; (2) established as a main tenet "unselfish service to others", (3) unanimously elected Dr. William Perry Woods as its first President effectively securing his leadership for the first two years of the existence of the International Association of Lions, and (4) selected Melvin Jones to serve as the Organization's Secretary-Treasurer.

The Lions motto is "We Serve". Local Lions Club programs include sight conservation, hearing and speech conservation, diabetes awareness, youth outreach, international relations, environmental issues, and many other programs. The discussion of politics and religion is forbidden. The LIONS acronym also stands for Liberty, Intelligence, Our Nations' Safety.
