Theatre Impian was conceived as a visual arts gallery to commemorate Lim Kit Siang’s 80th birthday. 100 unique artworks by 80 Malaysian artists were specially commissioned and curated to celebrate Kit Siang’s struggles, sacrifice and success in the pursuit of the Malaysian Dream. The artists weaved a beautiful biographical narrative of Kit Siang, telling the story of how a man fought against all o

dds for the sake of our future generations. A visit to Theatre Impian will take you on a journey to discover new perspectives of Malaysia’s history and give new inspiration to all Malaysians to fight for a better tomorrow. In addition, the artworks showcase some of the best artist Malaysia has proudly produced. It will be officially open for public viewing from 31st March 2021. We warmly welcome art enthusiasts to Theatre Impian! For a safe experience, visitors must be aged 13 and above. On December 6, 2025, Theatre Impian Art Gallery warmly welcomed 30 comrades from DAP Batu Pahat, accompanied by YB Gan Peck Cheng and Lim Swee Kuan, for a meaningful and reflective visit.

With thoughtful sharing and warm guidance from comrades Ms Foo and Yu Ong Ching, visitors reflected on the party’s journey, shared ideas, and deepened their understanding of the struggles and values behind Malaysia’s democratic movement. It was a visit filled with learning, reflection, and a strong sense of camaraderie.

2025年12月6日，迎变馆画廊温暖迎来了来自民主行动党峇株巴辖的30位同志，并由帆加兰区州议员颜碧贞与林瑞光陪同展开一趟充满意义的参观之旅。

在符月璇与游恩清同志的细心讲解与亲切接待下，同志们细细参观展馆内容，通过一幅幅作品与故事，回顾党的奋斗历程，也加深了对民主价值与精神的理解。

这不仅是一场参观，更是一段交流、学习与凝聚情谊的美好时光。

On November 27, 2025, Theatre Impian was deeply honored to welcome a group of long-time DAP comrades from Pulai, Iskandar Puteri, and Mersing, Johor.

The visit was guided by Ms. Foo together with Teih Jian Peng, Executive Secretary of the DAP Political Education Bureau. Many of them joined the party during the years when DAP was still in opposition. As they toured the gallery, the artworks and stories stirred deep emotions — memories of long struggles, perseverance, and the historic moment of political change they had once fought for together.

The visit was more than a gallery tour; it was a shared journey of remembrance, reflection, and pride in a chapter of Malaysia’s democratic history they helped shape.

2025年11月27日，迎变馆非常荣幸迎接来自柔佛浦来、依斯干达公主城及丰盛港的一群民主行动党党同志到访参观。

在 Ms. Foo 以及民主行动党全国政治教育执行秘书程健鵬的导览下，同志们细细走过画廊的每一段故事。这群同志中，许多人早在行动党仍身处在野党时期便已加入。参观画廊时，大家被一幅幅作品与故事深深触动，勾起当年并肩奋斗、共同走过改朝换代时代的珍贵回忆。

这不仅是一趟参观，更是一段回顾历史、彼此共鸣的旅程，也见证了他们为国家民主进程付出的坚持与信念。

On November 19 2025, Theatre Impian welcomed a group of university students from UKM for a meaningful visit and exchange.

The guided tour was led by Ms Foo, Mr Yu Ong Ching, together with Petaling Jaya City Councillors Kusaaliny a/p Mahendran and Loh Y Lun. Through clear and engaging explanations, the students explored the artworks in the gallery and revisited Tan Sri Lim Kit Siang’s remarkable political journey.

The visit concluded with an exchange session with Tan Sri Lim Kit Siang, offering the students a valuable opportunity to reflect, ask questions, and gain inspiration from history, leadership, and civic values.

2025年11月19日，迎变馆迎来了一组来自国立大学的大学生前来参观与交流。

此次导览由Ms. Foo、游恩清，以及八打灵再也市议员Kusaaliny a/p Mahendran 与罗伟伦共同带领。他们以深入浅出的方式讲解馆内画作，引导大学生们回顾丹斯里林吉祥精彩而深远的从政历程。

参观结束后，学生们也与丹斯里林吉祥进行了一场交流，让这趟参访不仅是一次学习之旅，更是一场充满启发与思考的对话。

On November 1, Theatre Impian was honoured to welcome members of the IUSY Asia Pacific Committee, as part of their Committee Meeting in Kuala Lumpur hosted by DAPSY Malaysia.

This visit brought together progressive youth leaders from the Philippines, Nepal, India, New Zealand, Taiwan, South Korea, Malaysia and beyond — a gathering united by shared hopes for a fairer and more equal region.

The delegation was guided through the gallery by Ms. Foo, Yu Ong Ching and DAPSY International Vice Secretary Kusaaliny a/p Mahendran, accompanied by International Secretary Tiw Tee Siang, as well as committee members from DAPSY Malaysia and DAPSY Selangor. Through the artworks and narratives on display, visitors gained a deeper understanding of Malaysia’s democratic journey and the values that continue to shape people’s movements across the region.

11月1日，迎变馆有幸迎来国际青年社会主义联盟（IUSY）亚太委员会成员到访，此次参访由民主行动党社青团配合其在吉隆坡举行的委员会会议而安排。

来自菲律宾、尼泊尔、印度、纽西兰、台湾、韩国、马来西亚等国家与地区的进步青年领袖齐聚一堂，共同参观迎变馆画廊，交流彼此对民主、公平与社会进步的理解与期许。

在 Ms. Foo、游恩清以及民主行动党社青团国际事务副秘书 Kusaaliny a/p Mahendran 的导览下，民主行动党社青团国际事务秘书张迪翔及全国民主行动党社青团与雪州民主行动党社青团的委员们一同随行。透过画作与故事的引导，访客们更深入认识马来西亚的民主历程，也感受到跨越国界、相互呼应的共同价值。

A Meaningful Visit from Nobel International School

On the morning of 29 October, Theatre Impian welcomed a bright and curious group of students from Nobel International School, thoughtfully arranged by their teacher, Ms Sarah.

The students arrived well-prepared — having learned about Tan Sri Lim Kit Siang’s journey in public service beforehand. Their strong foundation allowed them to grasp the stories and messages behind each artwork with remarkable clarity during the gallery tour.

The highlight of the visit came at the end, when the students engaged Tan Sri Lim Kit Siang in a warm and lively conversation. They asked thoughtful questions, showing genuine interest and a fresh perspective — creating a beautiful cross-generation exchange between youth and a senior statesman.

A wonderful morning — and a reminder of how the curiosity of young minds keeps history alive.

诺贝尔国际学校的一次意义深远的参访

10月29日的上午，在老师 Ms Sarah 的安排下，诺贝尔国际学校的一群优秀学生来到迎变馆参观。

这群学生事前做了充足的功课，对丹斯里林吉祥的从政历程有深度认识，因此在参观画廊时，他们更快地抓住了每幅画作背后的故事与意义。

参观结束后，学生们与林吉祥丹斯里展开真诚而热烈的交流，提出许多值得深思的问题，促成了新一代与政治前辈之间跨年代的交流与碰撞。

这是一个充满意义的上午，也再次提醒我们：正是年轻人的好奇与求知，让历史不断延续、焕发新光。
