Google Developer Groups on Campus (GDGoC) are community groups for college and university students interested in Google developer technologies.

GDGoC Sunway University was established in 2019 by a tech community group in Sunway University. GDSC Sunway University also has a strong partnership with Sunway Tech Club, a community based organisation that aims to bridge the gap between tech education, tech industry and entrepreneurship. We share common visions and goals to build and grow the student tech community in Sunway College and Sunway U

niversity through frequent collaborations. Currently, we are integrated as a division under Sunway Tech Club. We do not operate as an independent club or society under Student LIFE. Hence, you can expect us to organise events and run initiatives under / alongside the Sunway Tech Club name.

Building Full Stack AI Web Solutions using Firebase is a hands-on workshop that walks you through how modern AI-enabled web applications are built, integrated, and deployed using Firebase. On 19 June 2026, we had the opportunity to visit CelcomDigi for an insightful company visit experience. Through the session, we gained exposure to how AI is being applied across CelcomDigi’s products and initiatives, showing us that CelcomDigi goes beyond telecommunications and is also driving innovation across industries such as healthcare, agriculture, logistics, and more.
