Last Friday, Khun Saowluck from RC Nakhon Nayok with her husband and daughter was refer by RC Penang President Chandra to our President Howard about to find out information on the international school in Penang. Historic Partnership Meeting: Two Transformative Projects for Penang

This morning, Rotary Georgetown met with YB Jagdeep Singh Deo, Deputy Chief Minister II of Penang, to present two community-impact initiatives that honor service and address critical needs.

President Howard J. Roscoe introduced our club's vision, followed by Dr. Synthia Surin, P.J.K presenting our comprehensive plans for "Championing Mental Wellbeing for a Resilient Penang"—a multi-pronged initiative addressing Malaysia's escalating mental health crisis through ICCHP UK-certified professional training, community awareness, and accessible support pathways.

Randal Eastman then introduced the "Karpal Singh Legacy of Mobility Project"—a fitting tribute to the late Dato' Seri Utama Karpal Singh that will advance accessibility and mobility for Penangites with disabilities.

YB Jagdeep expressed strong support for both initiatives and committed to helping drive them forward.
