The Penang Medical Practitioners Society, represented by President Dr. Kiru, Dr. Tan Eng Guan, and Dato Amir Shah, along with several committee members, presented a cheque to Minds Association of Penang. This generous contribution provided timely support to the organization. A productive sharing session followed, focusing on collaborative efforts to enhance job readiness and employment opportunities for young adults with special needs through sheltered workshops. Emphasis was placed on integrating these individuals into the community. The event was well-attended by MAP committee members, parents, trainees, and teachers, and was deemed a success 😊.

Minds Association of Penang(MAP)
and Employment for Young Adults with Special Needs.

A successful charity fundraising event!
Help came from known and unknown people. Good souls reached the destiny where help needed. A total of 62 volunteers made it happened to serve 550 people who enjoyed 12 items of food served on the banana leaf. Taking this moment to thank everyone who contributed energy, resources,funding and prayers to make this initiative materialize.

Happy to be the tool of God to serve persons of Disabilities.

We have been training young adults with special needs in henna packaging for the past two years. To date, 26 trainees have successfully learned the skills to produce around 30 cartons per month. Their daily routine runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., giving them a structured and meaningful work experience. Through this program, they are not only generating income but also experiencing life-changing personal growth. Some of our participants are non-verbal or initially presented with behavioral challenges, yet they have transformed into more responsible, focused, and productive individuals. Parents are overjoyed to witness these positive changes, and we are proud that our approach has truly borne fruit.
