SOVEREIGN ROYAL MANUSCRIPT OF REMAN
A Treatise on the Theology of the End Times
THE SHIA ISSUE:
On the Division of the Ummah and the Danger of Takfir — Elevating Humans to the Level of Divinity
His Majesty said:
> If a person says to his brother: “O disbeliever,”
then the accusation will return to one of them.
— Narrated in Sahih al-Bukhari

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
All praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of all worlds. He is the One and Only, neither begetting nor begotten, and nothing is comparable to Him.
Human beings were created for one purpose: to worship Allah alone. Yet throughout human history, the same illness repeatedly returns — people elevate other human beings to a status almost like God.

The Issue of Division Among Muslims
In this age many debates arise that often lead to hostility among Muslims themselves.
Some people say:
“Shia are not Muslims.”
Then other voices respond that they are still Muslims even though they differ in understanding.
This reminds us of the saying of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that this community will divide into many groups.
He said:
> My Ummah will divide into 73 groups, and only one group among them will be saved.
Narrated in Sunan Abu Dawud and Jamiʿ at-Tirmidhi.
This hadith is not merely a prediction, but a warning so that the community does not fall into the trap of group fanaticism.

1. The Danger of Making Scholars and Clerics into Lords
Allah has warned about this since ancient times.
Allah says:
> They took their scholars and their monks as lords besides Allah.
The companions once asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about this verse.
He replied:
> They did not worship the monks.
But when the monks declared something lawful, they followed it,
and when the monks declared something forbidden, they followed it.
That was their worship of them.
— Narrated in Sunan al-Tirmidhi
The meaning is clear:
Shirk does not necessarily mean bowing to humans.
It is enough when humans are treated as the ultimate authority in determining what is lawful and unlawful in place of revelation.
This has been a disease of religion since ancient times.
---
2. Warning in the Hebrew and Syriac Traditions
In ancient Hebrew manuscripts (the prophets of the Children of Israel), there is a strong warning:
> Hear O Israel, our Lord is One Lord.
You shall not make for yourself any god besides Him.
This is the core teaching of monotheism also expressed in the Shema Israel in the Torah.
In early Syriac Christian writings, the desert monks wrote:
> When humans fear the words of men more than the word of God, a new idol is born in the heart.
Early Middle Eastern scholars called this:
“the idol of thought.”
---
3. Warning in the Sanskrit Tradition
In ancient Sanskrit philosophy there is also a principle parallel to monotheism.
In the Upanishads it is stated:
> Truth is One, though people call it by many names.
However, when humans forget that reality, man-made gods begin to appear.
Thus the history of world religions shows one pattern:
humans often transform the teaching of monotheism into a cult of human personalities.
---
4. The Hadith of the 73 Sects
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave a clear warning.
He said:
> The Jews split into 71 groups.
The Christians split into 72 groups.
And my Ummah will split into 73 groups.
All of them will be in the Fire except one.
The companions asked:
Who are they, O Messenger of Allah?
He replied:
> Those who follow my path and the path of my companions.
— Narrated in Sunan Abu Dawud and Jamiʿ at-Tirmidhi
However, great scholars such as Al-Ghazali emphasized something important:
Division does not necessarily mean all groups are disbelievers.
The difference may lie in doctrinal error, not necessarily leaving Islam.
This is why scholars of Ahlus Sunnah were extremely cautious in declaring takfir.
---
5. Allah’s Words About Division
Allah described this condition very precisely.
He says:
> Those who dispute about the Scripture are in extreme division.
And He also says:
> They divided their religion into sects.
Every group rejoices in what they possess.
This is the psychology of religious division:
each group believes itself to be the most correct.
---
6. The Principle of Islam: Reconcile the Believers
Islam does not teach its followers to destroy one another.
Allah says:
> If two groups of believers fight, then reconcile them.
This verse is very important because Allah still calls them believers, even when they are in conflict.
---
7. The Creedal View of the Ottoman State
In Islamic history, the Ottoman Empire ruled for more than 600–800 years.
Official scholars of the state such as Abu al-Su'ud Efendi emphasized an important principle:
As long as a person professes the shahada and does not clearly reject the fundamental principles of the religion, he is not declared a disbeliever.
This became a jurisprudential principle in the administration of the caliphate.
The Ottoman state governed:
Sunni
Shia
Sufi
various schools of thought
without making differences an excuse to destroy the Muslim community.
However they also affirmed:
Shirk remains shirk.
No human being may be elevated to the level of divinity.
---
8. The Danger of Takfir in the End Times
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave a stern warning.
He said:
> If a person says to his brother: “O disbeliever,”
then the accusation will return to one of them.
— Narrated in Sahih al-Bukhari
This shows that declaring takfir is not a trivial matter.
---
9. The Real Illness of the Ummah
The problem of Muslims is not merely differences of schools.
The real illness is:
📍 group fanaticism
📍 blind devotion to scholars
📍 treating religious figures as infallible
📍 rejecting Quranic texts when they contradict group interests
These are the issues Allah warned about.
---
10. The Path of Safety
The Messenger of Allah gave a simple answer:
return to the Quran and the Sunnah.
He said:
> I leave you two matters.
You will never go astray as long as you hold firmly to them:
the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Prophet.
---
Conclusion
In the end times, people will choose their own paths.
Allah says:
> You have no part in that matter.
Either He accepts their repentance or He punishes them because they are wrongdoers.
Worship Allah and avoid Taghut.
Thus every person must ask himself:
“Am I following revelation, or am I following human beings?”
For on the Day of Judgment people will say:
> “If only I had not taken that person as a leader whom I followed.”
In the end, only one thing will save humanity:
Pure monotheism.
There is no God except Allah.
And the Book that gives light.
Whoever truly seeks Allah will return to one reality:
pure monotheism.
Not blind loyalty to factions.
Not the glorification of religious personalities.
But submission to the word of God.
Because on the Last Day people will not be asked:
which school of thought they followed.
They will be asked:
🔑 Who is the Lord you worshipped?
🔑 What was your faith and belief?
🔑 And what was your answer to the Messengers sent to you?
Waqalu Samiʿna wa Aṭaʿna
Blessings
