ACCI recently received a courtesy visit from representatives of the Local Government of Ampatuan, Maguindanao del Sur; the Local Government of Bislig City, Surigao del Sur; and the Local Government of Cotabato City, together with the Asian Network for Sustainable Development Inc. (ANSD).

The meeting focused on exploring potential business collaborations, investment opportunities, and strengthening economic ties between Malaysia and the Philippines.

Among those present were Florencio C. Garay, City Mayor of Bislig City; Mohamad Simpal Sangki, Municipal Vice Mayor of Ampatuan; and James Gregor L. Asuelo, Chair and CEO of ANSD.

The Russia–Malaysia Business Networking Evening successfully took place at the Russian Centre for Science and Culture, Kuala Lumpur.

We were honored by the presence of H.E. Mr. Alexey Gruzdev, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, and distinguished guests from both nations.

The event featured B2B sessions between Russian and Malaysian companies, fostering meaningful discussions, potential partnerships, and new opportunities for trade and investment collaboration between the two business communities. 🇷🇺🤝🇲🇾

A courtesy visit by the President Asean Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), Dato Sohaimi Shahadan was made to the Russian Trade Representative Office in Malaysia. The delegation was warmly received by Mr. Andrey Kuznetsov, Head of the Trade Mission, together with Ms. Zulfia Chakaeva, Leading Expert.

During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on enhancing bilateral cooperation, particularly in trade and industry. The discussion also touched on potential areas of collaboration between business communities in ASEAN and the Russian Federation, with an emphasis on creating mutually beneficial opportunities for future engagement.

ICCI AND ACCI SIGN MOU TO STRENGTHEN ASEAN–PAKISTAN ECONOMIC TIES

The Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI) and the ASEAN Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ACCI) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance trade, investment, and business networking between the Malaysian and Pakistani entrepreneurial communities.

The MoU was signed by Datuk Muhamad Zamry Abu Samah, Vice President I of ACCI, while ICCI was represented by Abdul Rahman Siddiqui, Senior Vice President.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by Tahira Javed, Trade & Investment Counsellor at the High Commission of Pakistan in Malaysia; Muhammad Ali, Chairman of ICCI’s ASEAN Committee; and Nasir Husin Affizaddin, Secretary-General of ACCI.

The ASEAN Elevate Centre (AEC) is a strategic initiative under the Asean Chamber of Commerce & Industry, established as a one-stop centre to empower companies and entrepreneurs toward achieving corporate and international success.

AEC provides comprehensive access to networking opportunities, import-export prospects, training, coaching, consultancy, and a wide range of corporate services specifically designed to help businesses expand their potential on the global stage.
