Our 11-day journey through Anhui and Suzhou (May 14th–24th) has come to a close! The beautiful connections built between our artists from Malaysia, China, and Canada and all the participants truly made this event a resounding success. Thank you to everyone for making this an unforgettable experience. We cannot wait to foster more international art exchanges in the future.

This 11-day artistic journey through some of China’s most historic towns and landscapes is packed with various programmes held in Xidi, Hongcun, Pingshan, Shexian, Luzhi (Suzhou)

The opening ceremony of the "Silk Road Passion: Malaysia-China Art Exhibition 2026" was successfully held at the Melaka Art Gallery on 9th April. It was officiated by YB. Datuk Wira Lim Ban Hong
Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri, Kawasan Klebang merangkap Penasihat Khas Pelaburan dan Hal Ehwal Negara China kepada YAB Ketua Menteri Melakar and witnessed by Yang Berusaha
Encik Nasrul bin Ahmad, Pengurus Besar, Bahagian Promosi Pelancongan Melaka and Yang Berusaha Puan Erne binti Hamsah, Pengurus Besar, Perbadanan Muzium Melaka.

Apart from that, on the 7th and 8th of April, members of MWS and the artists from China had plein air and exchange activities done happily in the city centre. It was such an great and memorable experience for everyone.

We thank everyone who have contributed theirs efforts to make this event a success. The exhibition runs until 30th July. If you're happen to be in Melaka, do not miss this opportunity to view the amazing artworks.
