Whether it's transporting equipment and supplies for our camps, or answering the call during flood relief operations, he never hesitates to lend his vehicle and his effort to get the job done. In moments when reaching people and moving resources is everything, his readiness makes a real difference. It's the kind of hands-on, no-fuss support that keeps our operations moving when it matters most. 🌊

When it comes to fundraising, she is one of our most generous supporters, giving significantly to keep our activities going. And when our members head into competition, she is there too, stepping in as an accompanying officer, standing by their side and making sure they are looked after. Behind every certificate our members earn, there is her careful work holding the whole process together. 📋

From arranging certified trainers to deliver our Essential and Basic First Aid lectures to organising the theory papers and practical assessments, she manages every moving part of the examination process. It's detailed, demanding work that asks for patience and precision, making sure nothing is missed and every member is fairly and properly assessed. Thanks to her, the skills our members carry into the field are ones they can genuinely rely on.

He never hesitates to go the extra mile, quite literally turning his own car into a “St. John van” to fetch members whenever they need a ride. But his care doesn't stop at getting them from place to place. Today, we want to take a moment to thank our Area Staff Officer (Training), Mr. Gan Teck Beng, who pours himself into training our members almost around the clock regardless weekday or weekend, rain or shine, it makes no difference to him. Whenever our members need him, he is there. 💪

But his care goes far beyond the training ground. To our members, he is like a father figure sorting out their transport, making sure they're fed, and quietly solving whatever problems come their way so they can focus on giving their best. It's this whole-hearted dedication, both as a trainer and as someone who genuinely looks after his people, that has carried our area to the competition results and achievements we're so proud of today. 💙

The nursing skills she shares are real, practical, and something our members carry with them long after each session ends.
