BUILDING STRONGER CONNECTIONS FOR MELAKA’S PROPERTY INDUSTRY 🤝

20 Aug 2026 - A meaningful afternoon of engagement as the REHDA Melaka delegation paid a courtesy visit to YBrs Tn Zakariya b Nayan, the newly appointed Director of the Valuation and Property Services Department (JPPH) Melaka.

Led by Datuk Ngoh Chun How, Chairperson of REHDA Melaka, the visit provided an opportunity to extend our warmest welcome to YBrs. Tn. Zakariya and to strengthen the longstanding relationship between REHDA Melaka and JPPH Melaka.

The engagement also allowed both parties to exchange views on matters concerning property valuation and the development of the housing and property industry in Melaka.

We look forward to continued dialogue, collaboration and constructive engagement with JPPH Melaka in supporting the sustainable growth of Melaka’s property and housing sector.

12 Aug 2026 - REHDA Melaka paid a courtesy visit today to YBrs TPr Sulaiman b Mohammad, the newly appointed Director of PLANMalaysia Melaka.

The visit provided a valuable platform for constructive engagement and exchange of views on current planning, housing and development matters, with a shared commitment towards supporting sustainable and well-planned development in Melaka.

REHDA Melaka extends our congratulations to YBrs TPr Sulaiman on his appointment and looks forward to continued collaboration with PLANMalaysia Melaka.

11 August 2026 - A stakeholder engagement session was held as part of the ongoing review of the Melaka State Structural Plan 2040.

The session was marked by robust participation from key regulatory and planning authorities, including representatives from Pejabat Projek Zon Selatan PLANMalaysia, PLANMalaysia Melaka, and lead consultants Iktisas Planners Sdn Bhd. REHDA Melaka was proudly represented by Chairperson Datuk Ngoh Chun How, Committee Member Mr Clement Lau, and Honorary Advisor Tpr Lau Dor Ris, alongside lead consultant Tpr Juwairiyah Ho bt Abdullah and housing specialist Tpr Dr Syafiee b Shuid.

Through an insightful presentation and collaborative roundtable discussions, attendees discussed critical strategies to enhance housing affordability, streamline regulatory frameworks, and drive sustainable property development across Melaka. Multi-agency partnerships of this caliber are vital to shaping a thriving and inclusive future for the state.
