Kudat Turtle Conservation Society (KTCS) is a gathering of like-minded individuals working to conserve and improve Kudat sea turtle populations through public education and awareness program. We work hand-in-hand with our partners in the government and private sectors, civil societies and local communities in our effort to protect these endangered marine reptiles that are facing extinction globall
y. KTCS focuses on raising the awareness of the local community on sea turtle conservation issue as well as promoting and increasing participation of local community in nature conservation efforts. At the same time, KTCS has also embarks on projects that can help promoting community conservation efforts as an income generating activities. This is to establish a more sustainable means for continuous conservation effort by communities through ecotourism.
