CNY Party Celebration Recap:

The Company gathered for a joyful Chinese New Year celebration filled with praise, games, and fellowship. Members enjoyed fun activities and shared a meal together, creating a warm and lively atmosphere.
It was encouraging to see strong bonds of friendship and unity among BB and GB members. Thank you to everyone who made this celebration meaningful and memorable.

We extend our deepest condolences to Lt. Jonathan Chin and his family.

He was a dedicated officer of 16th Kuching Company at St. Joseph's Cathedral.

It is with a heavy heart that we wish to inform our BB family that Dr Jonathan Chin Ching Ming, an Officer of 16th Kuching Company, has gone home to be with our Lord and Saviour. We pray that God will comfort and console his family and grant them peace.

The highlight of the day was none other than Sgt. Benjamin Tan being presented with the President’s Award by Chaplain Fr. Leonard Yap!

The President’s Award in The Boys' Brigade (BB) Malaysia is the second-highest honour for senior members, recognising outstanding leadership, dedication, and service. To qualify, members must fulfil rigorous requirements, including attaining specific ranks and completing a wide range of advanced and basic awards across various categories. Recipients embody the values of the Brigade and demonstrate exceptional commitment through community involvement and leadership development.

A heartfelt congratulations to Sgt. Benjamin Tan for this remarkable milestone. Your journey of growth and perseverance is truly inspiring.

Today, our NCOs successfully organised the Year-End Thanksgiving & Awards Day. The programme featured a heartfelt Praise & Worship session led by our Junior Section Members, a Thanksgiving Speech by Captain Clement, a prayer by our Chaplain, Fr. Leonard Yap, followed by a Band Presentation, a Video Slideshow, and the Awards Presentation for both the Junior and Senior Sections.

For the Junior Section, members received their Yearly Service Awards and Junior Achievement Awards.

For the Senior Section, awards were presented for Target, Christian Education, Camping, Expedition, Communication, Community Service, Computer Knowledge, Environmental Conservation, First Aid, Hobbies, Physical Training, Sustainability, Bandsman, Silver Scholastics, and NCO Stars.

Congratulations to all members—your hard work and dedication have truly paid off.

11th Kuching Company Brigade Band made its first debut today during our Company’s Thanksgiving & Awards Day.
A proud and joyful moment to witness their hard work come alive in carol and music.

Today we appoint our company First Home-Grown officer, Warrant Officer Nathan Ngu!

Joined in 2019 as one of the company's First Batch Senior Section Members, he was also the company's 1st NCO and 1st Sergeant.

Later he continued serving in 4th Kota Kinabalu and was appointed as an officer there during his further studies.

W/O Nathan Ngu will now serve as the Senior Section Officer In-Charge of 11th Kuching Company.
