The BB Love Box is a community project to collect and distribute gifts to the less fortune people, irrespective of their race and religion. Mission Statement: To Share LOVE and JOY with the Needy Objectives of the BB Love Box are: -
a. To share the Love and JOY to the needy through the LOVE BOX. To promote the spirit of Community Service among BB Members. To promote the spirit of Caring and Shari
ng among people in Kuching. The Boys' Brigade, 2nd Kuching Company, will manage the BB Love Box project together with Trinity Methodist Church Kuching and KTS Trading Sdn Bhd. Starting 2021, we have expanded BBLB to whole Malaysia.
1. Implementation BB members will be stationed at various locations to collect presents, food and household items donated by the public. The presents are sorted and packed, and BB members will then deliver the presents to the homes of the recipients.
2. Our Recipients The recipients are identified with the help of welfare and social organizations/groups, religious and voluntary bodies. The recipients are
(i) children (from infant to 17 years old),
(ii) families and
(iii) elderly folks from: -
• various villages around Kuching area
• old folks homes
• Orphanages
3. Contributions Contributions are in the form of presents for the children, food items and household items for the families and elderly folks. We do encourage corporate body to sponsor cardboard boxes, project flyers and wrapping papers, etc. For 2021, we will be collecting medical mask for the needy
