Our Support Services staff, Cikgu Shu Shan, was among those who received a heartfelt thank-you card from little Marteen and his mummy as he completed his active treatment at the hospital 💛

Marteen was only a baby when he was diagnosed with medulloblastoma. Today, he is almost 2 years old. Behind this little card is a story filled with worries, prayers, and hope. For nearly a year, Marteen and his family have walked through this challenging journey, and we are grateful to have been by their side from the very beginning. Seeing our brave little Marteen complete his last active treatment is a moment we will always cherish 🫶

Through SCCS, we make sure Marteen and his mummy have the support they need throughout this journey, from providing a listening ear during their hardest days to offering care, encouragement, and reassurance along the way. Because SCCS is here to remind families like Marteen’s that they do not have to face childhood cancer alone.

Thank you, Marteen and mummy, for this beautiful reminder of why we continue doing what we do. Your words mean so much to us. We hope Marteen continues to grow stronger and healthier every day 🎗️

🏆 Huge Milestone for SCCS!

In conjunction with Sambutan Hari Wanita Sarawak 2026 held by Jabatan Wanita dan Keluarga Sarawak last weekend, SCCS was honoured to receive the Anugerah Premier Sarawak Pertubuhan Cemerlang 2026.

This recognition means so much to us. It not only acknowledges the work we do, but also helps shine a light on the stories, struggles, and hopes of children with cancer and their families across Sarawak.

Thank you for this honour and for recognising our mission. This achievement belongs to our little warriors, their families, and everyone who continues to stand with us.

On 25 July, the team “Insight The Storm” from the USANA Storm Program under USANA Malaysia was crowned champion! 🏆

It touches our hearts that the team chose to share their achievement with our children, selecting SCCS as the recipient of their contribution. We are honoured to be chosen as the beneficiary of their hard work, a gift that brings hope to our little warriors.

Congratulations on this incredible achievement, made possible through dedication and teamwork.

Thank you to the team and to USANA Malaysia for believing in our cause! 💛

As we come to the end of July, which is Sarcoma and Bone Cancer Awareness Month, SCCS takes a moment to shine a light on sarcoma — a time dedicated to raising awareness about this rare cancer, the importance of early detection, and the impact it has on children and families.

In conjunction with this awareness month, we share the inspiring journey of Faez Nazirul, a brave childhood cancer survivor who was diagnosed with osteosarcoma three years ago.

His journey was filled with challenges, but with timely treatment, strong support from his family, and the generosity of your donations, Faez was given the opportunity to fight, heal, and continue moving forward.

Thank you for making journeys like Faez’s possible 🎗️
