Vocal Singing Lessons by KCFCA

Kuching City First Choir Association (KCFCA) is now offering vocal singing lessons to the public, similar to regular music school training. These classes are suitable for anyone who would like to learn singing properly whether you are a beginner or looking to improve your technique.

Lessons will focus on:
– Singing technique
– Breathing and tone production
– Pitch and musicality

🗓 Every Wednesday
⏰ 7:45pm – 9:15pm

💰 Fees (monthly):
KCFCA Members: RM75
Non-members: RM100

2026 SADA KENYALANG – International Choir Competition

Competition Categories include:
• Adult Mixed Voices
• Adult Equal Voices
• Youth Choir
• Children’s Choir
• Vocal Ensemble (open category)

Choirs with a Festival Pass may participate in the competition at no additional cost.

For choirs not holding a Festival Pass, the competition fee is RM40 per singer.

Join us in celebrating choral music and cultural exchange in Sarawak, Malaysia.

As we conclude this year’s Music and Words, our hearts are full. Thank you to every singer, musician, crew member, volunteer, partner, and supporter who helped bring this concert to life.

This year reminded us of the power of community, voices of all ages coming together, sharing stories, celebrating culture, and uplifting one another through music. Seeing so many passionate youths and dedicated musicians on stage gives us great hope for the future of the choral scene in Sarawak.
