Today, we commemorate World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day 2026 under the theme βUnited in Humanityβ, celebrating the spirit of compassion, solidarity and humanitarian action that unites communities across the world.
This meaningful occasion honours the legacy of Henry Dunant, founder of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, whose vision more than 160 years ago continues to inspire humanitarian service today.
Above all, we pay tribute to the millions of volunteers and staff worldwide who continue to serve communities in times of crisis β providing protection, emergency assistance, healthcare, relief and hope to those in need.
Let us continue to recognise and support the unwavering dedication of Malaysian Red Crescent volunteers and the global Red Cross and Red Crescent family in delivering humanitarian assistance with humanity, impartiality and compassion.
