Today, we celebrate the birthday of His Excellency Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Haji Wan Junaidi bin Tuanku Jaafar, the Governor of Sarawak, who is also YPS advisor.

We extend our warmest wishes to His Excellency for continued good health, wisdom, and strength. May his vision and leadership continue to inspire the people of Sarawak and contribute towards greater unity, peace, progress, and prosperity for our beloved Sarawak.

Built in 1904, this 120 year old landmark carries more than a century of stories, memories and shared experiences. Once an important route for workers and surrounding communities, it now stands as a reminder of the connections that have shaped the area.

The lepau represents generations of farming knowledge, shared experiences and community values among the Kenyah and Kayan communities. As traditions evolve, these lepau remain a meaningful reminder of the enduring relationship between people, land and culture.
