On Friday, 12 June 2026,
SFIA President Leo Chiang Kok Sze led a delegation comprising Honorary Secretary Alex Lim Hak Geh, Deputy President II Lai Chin Choi, Deputy Honorary Secretary Michelle Chong Jan Lion, Committee Member Stanley Ngu King Hieng, and Executive Secretary Su Tien Oh on a courtesy visit to the Sarawak Timber Association (STA).
The delegation was warmly received by the STA Secretariat team, led by CEO Annie Ting.
The visit marked the first official engagement between the two associations and provided a valuable platform to explore opportunities for cooperation and collaboration. Both parties exchanged views on areas of mutual interest and discussed ways to strengthen the growth and development of Sarawak’s timber industry, spanning both the upstream and downstream sectors.
