Gawai is a special season for many travellers, not just celebrants. Today was the Majlis Sambutan Hari Gawai, where travellers to Kuching were personally welcomed with smiles and goodie bags at the arrival hall of Kuching International Airport.

The ceremony was organised in conjunction with Visit Malaysia 2026 and attended by YBrs. Tuan Morshidi Frederick (Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Sarawak), representing YB Dato Sri Haji Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah (Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Sarawak).

The International Automotive Business Convention & Exhibition (IABCE) 2026 🚘 officiated by The Honourable Dato Sri Tiong King Sing, Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia, brought together automotive industry leaders, workshop owners, technical experts, suppliers, and mobility solution providers from across the region in Sibu from 29–31 May 2026.

Industry leaders highlighted the rapid transformation of the automotive sector driven by digitalisation, intelligent systems, and the transition towards sustainable mobility.

A huge congratulations to Eric Ho, the Executive Director of Pico Malaysia, on being elected as the President of the Malaysian Association Of Convention & Exhibition Organisers & Suppliers.
