16th Kuching Company, The Boys' Brigade in Malaysia Captain: Mr Desmond Chan

Lieutenant: Mdm Rita Ling and Ms Florence Chin

The Brigade’s weekly activities range from the Catholic Faith Formation, Bible Knowledge, Foot Drills, Games and a Badgework Syllabus that trains members (Junior ages 9-12 & Senior ages 13-19) modelling it on the concept of Christianity and Discipline.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our dear Cpl. Ryan Jorai.

Ryan was a truly cherished member of our company. He was always full of humour, always ready to make people laugh with his playful and mischievous nature. He also had a deep love for music and singing, and those moments of joy and energy he brought will always be remembered by those around him. His presence brightened our days in ways that words can hardly describe.

Within just the past two months, our company has sadly lost two beloved Members. This is a heavy grief for all of us.

We ask everyone to continue keeping Ryan’s family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers, and also to remember our company during this difficult time. May we find strength, comfort, and unity as we support one another.

For those who are able to attend, we warmly invite you to join us in paying our final respects.
