✨ BGA Award & Charity Gala Dinner 2026 ✨

On 4 July 2026, BGA proudly hosted the Award & Charity Gala Dinner 2026 at the DBNA Hall, Kuching, bringing together the Bidayuh community for an evening of celebration, recognition, and giving back.

The event was officiated by YB Datuk Miro Simuh and attended by distinguished Bidayuh leaders, professionals, veterans, and approximately 1,000 guests, reflecting the community's strong spirit of unity and support.

Congratulations to our distinguished award recipients:

🏆 Excellence Award – Entertainment: Dewi Liana Seriestha
🏆 Outstanding Bidayuh Leadership Award: Datuk Ik Pahon Joyik

The evening was further enlivened by a special performance from Dewi Liana Seriestha, who captivated the audience with her newly released debut single.

More than just an awards ceremony, the gala served as a meaningful platform to strengthen connections among Bidayuh leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs, and veterans while raising support for charitable initiatives that benefit the Bidayuh community.

Sarawak Bidayuh Graduates Association (BGA) Participates in Niti Daun 2026 Parade

For the first time, BGA took part in this year’s Niti Daun Parade, fielding a contingent of 30 members. The group was among several contingents representing the Bidayuh community in the celebration.

The state-level Niti Daun celebration in Kuching featured a vibrant display of Sarawak’s rich Dayak cultural heritage, showcasing an impressive array of traditional costumes, customs, and living traditions.

This year’s event brought together 114 contingents, each consisting of 30 participants, reflecting the diversity and unique cultural identities of Sarawak’s indigenous communities.
The 1.2-kilometre cultural parade commenced at the traffic light junction near Tun Jugah Building and made its way to the Kuching Waterfront, attracting large crowds of spectators who gathered to witness the colourful celebration of heritage, culture, and unity.

Dear fellow Bidayuh. In conjunction with the upcoming BGA/DBNA Award and Charity Gala Dinner 2026, we are pleased to announce the giving of Excellence Awards to deserving Bidayuh who excelled in their field of works and directly provide impact to the community whether directly or indirectly.

Being the 1st of its kind for Sarawak Bidayuh Graduates Association, this year’s award will have 3 categories which will be expanded in the future. PROFESSIONAL, BUSINESS, ENTERTAINTMENT. Only 1 category submission allowed only.
