🏮 *Together Under the Moon — A Celebration of Community*
What a lovely evening at Westwood Garden! 🌙
More than 90 neighbours, from 2 to 86 years old, came together for our “Together Under the Moon” Mid-Autumn celebration on 16 September.
Chinese, Muslim and native neighbours joined in the celebration, sharing food, laughter and friendship. One of the highlights was our Lantern Walk — a simple walk around the neighbourhood, but a meaningful one. Some of our elderly residents told us they had not carried a lantern and walked together like this for many years. 🏮
We were also happy to have officers from PDRM joining the walk. For some of them, it was their first experience taking part in this tradition.
And as our celebration happened to fall on Malaysia Day, it was especially meaningful to see colourful lanterns carried alongside the Jalur Gemilang 🇲🇾 — a small but beautiful reflection of the multicultural community we are fortunate to share here in Sarawak.
