Welcome to the CHASS Family Table, this Easter season featuring the home kitchen of Chef Laura 👩‍🍳

​For Laura, food is the ultimate language of love. Whether it’s the patient kneading of spiced dough for her Hot Cross Buns—where the cross represents the crucifixion and the spices symbolize the embalming herbs of tradition—or the delicate craft of hand-painting Easter eggs for her two lovely grandchildren, every gesture is an act of devotion.

​These eggs are more than just a treat; they are beautiful symbols of new life and hope, reminding us that even after the longest winter, there is always a beginning. It all leads to Easter Sunday, the pinnacle of the season—a day that celebrates the triumph of life over darkness and the joy of renewal. 🕊️✨
