🤝 Courtesy Visit by Invest Selangor Berhad

The Sarawak Manufacturers' Association (SMA) was honoured to welcome a delegation from Invest Selangor Berhad for a courtesy visit to promote the Selangor Investment & Industrial Park Expo (SPARK) 2026.

The delegation was led by Mr. Jamie Haniff Ramlee, Senior Director of the Investment Promotion Division, Invest Selangor Berhad. The visit provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen collaboration between our organisations while sharing insights on SPARK 2026 and the Selangor International Business Summit (SIBS) 2026.

We sincerely thank Invest Selangor Berhad for the meaningful engagement and look forward to fostering stronger partnerships that create new opportunities for manufacturers and businesses in both Sarawak and Selangor.

The Sarawak Manufacturers Association (SMA) and Kuching Port Authority (KPA) have reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing collaboration to improve logistics efficiency for manufacturers.

During a recent dialogue, KPA confirmed that congestion at Senari Terminal has been resolved and that ongoing capacity expansion projects are on track to accommodate increasing trade volumes and support future industrial growth.

☕ Coffee Talk with RHB Bank – A Successful Session

Sarawak Manufacturers’ Association (SMA) successfully held a Coffee Talk Session with RHB Bank on 16 January 2026 at Wisma Chinese Chambers, Kuching.

The session provided SMA members with valuable insights into banking facilities, SME services, asset financing, and wealth management solutions tailored for manufacturers, shared by RHB’s regional heads. It was an engaging and informative discussion, followed by meaningful networking among participants.
