🎉 SNSK Gawai Celebration Open House – Event Update 🎉

Today, SNSK successfully hosted our Gawai Celebration Open House, bringing together committee members, parents, members, and invited guests in a warm and meaningful gathering.

We were honored by the presence of YB Wilfred Yap, who has always shown strong support, care, and encouragement for our community.

The programme was carried out smoothly as follows:
📌 Committee meeting & arrival session in the morning
📌 Welcome speech by SNSK President
📌 Speech by YB Wilfred Yap
📌 Token of appreciation presentation & cake cutting ceremony
📌 Fellowship lunch with all guests

A big thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the success of this celebration. Your presence made the event truly memorable.

The Housekeeping Training Programme by Special Needs Society Kuching (SNSK) is about more than skills — it is about confidence, independence, and believing in the abilities of persons with special needs.

Officiated by Batu Kitang ADUN, Datuk Lo Khere Chiang, the programme reflects a shared commitment to care, respect, and inclusion.

With the constant love of parents, caregivers, partners, and the community, we continue walking this journey together towards a more compassionate and inclusive Sarawak.

Industry-based vocational training plays a vital role in empowering persons with special needs by building practical skills, independence, and confidence for future employment.

Batu Kitang ADUN, Datuk Lo Khere Chiang, said such programmes go beyond charity, reflecting a strong commitment to inclusive development. He shared this during the launch of the Housekeeping Training Programme organized by Special Needs Society Kuching (SNSK).

Together with the support of parents, caregivers, government, and NGOs, SNSK continues to create meaningful opportunities towards a more caring and inclusive Sarawak.
