Dolce Chanticleer Dolce Chanticleer is a premier vocal ensemble from Sarawak, Malaysia, dedicated to sharing hope, harmony, and musical excellence.

Dolce Chanticleer is a Sarawak-based vocal ensemble known for refined harmonies and heartfelt performances of sacred, classical, and cultural music under the direction of Sabrina Tnay. Founded in 2015 under the direction of Sabrina Tnay, the choir performs a versatile repertoire spanning sacred classics, contemporary works, Disney melodies, jazz, and Malaysian folk songs. The group features both seasoned vocalists and emerging talents, and holds a distinction in ABRSM’s Advanced Choral Singing. Dolce is known for its heartfelt performances across concert halls, festivals, churches, and community events. Musical Director: Madam Sabrina Tnay

There is a subtle but meaningful difference.

To be demanding may mean expecting more from others.
To be self-demanding is to expect more from ourselves.

It is the willingness to challenge our own limits, to keep improving, and to never stop striving for a higher standard, not because perfection is expected but because growth matters.

At Dolce, we believe that musical excellence begins with this mindset.

And for the first time, Dolce Premier Choir is opening its audition to the public — giving passionate singers an opportunity to be part of our journey and experience what it means to grow together through music.

To us, being self-demanding is not about demanding more from others. It is about expecting more from ourselves.

It is the commitment to keep learning, to keep improving, and to continually raise our own standards — in every rehearsal, every performance, and every step of our musical journey.

Because growth begins when we challenge ourselves to become better than we were yesterday.

Self-demanding — a mindset that continues to shape Dolce. 🎶

And the journey continued beyond Puteri Santubong… 🎶

The second half brought us through a beautiful blend of classical choral music, powerful melodies, and musical theatre.

🎼 Music in the Night by Elaine Hagenberg, a beautiful classical choral work, performed by Dolce Chanticleer under Mdm Sabrina Tnay’s conduct, bringing together the richness and expressiveness of our voices.

🎭 And to close the night, West Side Story Medley, arranged by our Artistic Advisor Jacob Nydegger, an energetic and unforgettable finale that brought the entire stage to life.

From every harmony to every movement, every piece added another chapter to our Night in Motion story. ❤️

The curtain may have closed, but the music and memories remain. ✨
